If you actually take these out in public anywhere then you'll be stabbed...I'd rather that didn't happen to me so I'll stick to pressing a simple icon on the screen which is pretty easy anyway.
just hope the battery life keeps upto all this :| biggest letdown with androids..they have everything..but the battery life nevers allow you to take your mobile to its limits :|
Interesting idea. But mostly for those who don't know or not interested how to use the phone. Otherwise, I'm sure you can do it yourself. Come on, why android got all those screens? What are all those new launchers for? New widgets and all this customisation? Hm? That is the all fun of making phone the way, work for you the best. Good luck. I'm not interested
cool idea , but why would you pay for some thing which is probably expensive when you can do its job with a few clicks on your phone, nfc tags is for lazy people
erm yeah right, phones have had these home, office, alarm etc settings for years always quicker than finding a fucking tag around the house. This is like the worst invention ever! I really hope this will never come to market ever.
I'm sure there are plenty of apps that do this anyway based on GPS.
Also why would you ever turn wifi on or off? it literally takes no battery at all, it's 90% screen drain that uses battery anyway? God this is the worst ever.
Hey, its compatible with any NFC compatible handset. So, its a genuine question asked by most guys, where it's compatible with which handset. So, the answer is :
@speedstakerguy i've had 6 different SE phones.. after the epic fail of x10 and being constantly unsatisfied with their product, i decided to give it one more go with the arc... and lasted a few months before i got a galaxy s2, and it is in a different world from SE..
Smart marketing by Sony and that's it, they are selling something that's already a part of the software. everything it does can be done by GPS location settings without involving a medal looking device. Lets not move backwards. The only use would be in the car when its not parked at a default location like work or home. Bumping your phone to your keys just looks silly.
@sleepyearth that's true, but doesn't change the fact that this is not a good product, NFC has a bright future in the way we communicate with machines, this product is not a part of it. Guess i'm just frustrated to see the praise it gets from people that doesn't know what can be done with what we got.
What is smart about it? It is only one step easier than clicking "i'm at home" or "I'm going to bed". You still have to remember to do it. I prefer to switch my profile based on wifi. I don't have to do anything.
