  • 発想は面白いけど値段が高すぎる

  • didnt motorola do this but even simpler with gps location?

  • that is so cool ive heard and red about it

  • АХХХХХУЕННО!

  • OMFG i like that idea but the self rolling up duvet is freaking amazing!!!!!!

  • Lose any one and you are fucked!

  • no more sony ericsson :( it's now sony mobile

  • i wanna throw my iPhone away.

  • L'idée est originale, mais les badges un peu partout dans la maison c'est pas trop laid?

Une appli qui sauvegarde différente config pour changer de profil ne serait-elle pas plus pratique, plus esthétique, et tout aussi rapide?

  • I have an Xperia Neo V and i love it so much!

  • Ericcson Arc model is compatible?

  • @ArrechotX to the arc does not have nfc

  • will this be compatible with Xperia U and P?

  • wow!

  • amazing... ive been needing this phone for months now and I only just found out it comes with these tags. amazing

  • I really want this now,

even though i just got myself an Xperia ray

  • If you actually take these out in public anywhere then you'll be stabbed...I'd rather that didn't happen to me so I'll stick to pressing a simple icon on the screen which is pretty easy anyway.

  • when will the Sony Xperia S launch in Australia??

  • Hi there, one question is this a hardware thing or can it "possibly" - in the near future - be used on the Arc S? Cheers

  • loove the concept, sony is always leadering in these things :)

PS: In two days everybody will be coping this...

  • Cool technology, but it shows how lazy we are getting. We cant even swipe to unlock + click on Google Maps.

  • !The first Android that I will love!

  • Sony is going beyond my expectations..

  • Shut up and take my money! :p

  • Is it really tough to start the GPS or turn off the Wi Fi? I mean u need to buy a smart tag to do that?

  • Hi Josh,

I wanted to know some things about the Xperia S.

1 - How much will cost the Xperia S

2 - How much will cost Smart Tags

3 - Does the Xperia S will be available in Canada?

Thank you and reply as soon as possible please :)

    -Dan

  • @MrKaspersfan444

1- Around 714 for just the phone

    2- Around $40 for 4 (I think)

3- Heard rumors that it'll be coming to Rogers, idk when though

  • @ghosn33 Thanks!:D

  • and why cant the tags be inside the fone... like profile switch?

but this is damn cool though...

  • the rolling quilt is also done by the tag!?

  • Forever alooone.

  • i live in poor small country called russia, can u pls gift me one of this?

  • тупость огромная, неужели кто-то реально будет таскать с собой все это?

  • @Nesmero91 не тупи, зачем таскать с собой?

  • @kaygees18 все равно брел полнейший, мне вот вместо этого злама хватает liama и всё.

  • Dear Sony, could you please stop inventing amazingly cool technology and design? My wallet cries all day and every night and I blame you for that!!

    Very neat stuff, really impressive!

  • Xpreria Arc S is best phone from sony

  • its preaty useless app :P

  • i want to buy a new xperia but i don't have money T.T

    I have a xperia x10 mini pro

  • Id set one to close all tabs and clear history. (if you know what i men)

  • @WhatThePresidentSays i get what you mean. *wink*

  • dear SonyEricsson why are u not change your name to "Sony"?

  • life not attach with mobile.

  • It's time for Sony to come back!

  • not for re-sale ?

i guess this is coming with the phones packaging

  • Far easier to press a couple of buttons than have all those nasty tags all over the place just keep it simple these gimmicks never take off...

  • Forged in gods very flame wats next the first ever smart shirt hmmm that sounds awesome

  • just hope the battery life keeps upto all this :| biggest letdown with androids..they have everything..but the battery life nevers allow you to take your mobile to its limits :|

  • now im surely buying an xperia s :)

  • @DBZKRN Hope you do and enjoy it a lot once you get it :) -Josh

  • I am buying

  • who invents these things??? wow just wow!

  • I'm Buyin!!

  • what is the name of his hair style ?

  • I can't wait for this phone Thumbs up if you agree :)

  • lho cok,opo2an iku.haha! awesome :), jadi kepengen

  • Interesting idea. But mostly for those who don't know or not interested how to use the phone. Otherwise, I'm sure you can do it yourself. Come on, why android got all those screens? What are all those new launchers for? New widgets and all this customisation? Hm? That is the all fun of making phone the way, work for you the best. Good luck. I'm not interested

  • anyone know what this song is..?

  • cool idea , but why would you pay for some thing which is probably expensive when you can do its job with a few clicks on your phone, nfc tags is for lazy people

  • erm yeah right, phones have had these home, office, alarm etc settings for years always quicker than finding a fucking tag around the house. This is like the worst invention ever! I really hope this will never come to market ever.

I'm sure there are plenty of apps that do this anyway based on GPS.

Also why would you ever turn wifi on or off? it literally takes no battery at all, it's 90% screen drain that uses battery anyway? God this is the worst ever.

  • @alexgowers

Small minded people who have little or no imagination buy an Apple iphone

Or they post silly offensive comments

    Some do both! ;o)

  • interesting, yet unproductive idea

  • It clearly says NFC on those tags so unless your phone is already nfc enabled this is not compatible with your phone

  • Dear Sony Ericsson, will this be compatible with my Xperia Mini Pro, new model? Thank you.

  • @angryKratos So far only the Xperia™ S is listed as compatible with this. -Josh

  • @angryKratos These are NFC tags. So i guess a sony phone with NFC will work with these. IF not now then soon. But NFC is a must.

  • @angryKratos

Hey, its compatible with any NFC compatible handset. So, its a genuine question asked by most guys, where it's compatible with which handset. So, the answer is :

You phone should be NFC compatible.

  • now if only sony ericsson phones were quality....

  • @cooj which they are...

  • @speedstakerguy i've had 6 different SE phones.. after the epic fail of x10 and being constantly unsatisfied with their product, i decided to give it one more go with the arc... and lasted a few months before i got a galaxy s2, and it is in a different world from SE..

  • @cooj lolololololololol

  • @cooj really? :s

  • interesting idea..but it feels annoying to do

  • i like the idea but seriously like TheTOBster87 has said i'm not that lazy xD

  • i'm lazy, but not that lazy. =P

  • Şimdiye kadar gördüğüm en iyi fikir Sony aşmış yine kendini :)

  • Sony + BMW X1 = My life

  • Awesome :O..I would so want this for my car...currently I have to start bluetooth and launch spotify -_-....

  • Wow, dis is really something! Like the design of the tags too!

  • A sharp idea, very much so!

  • I like the idea!

  • Meh, they seem way too gimmicky

  • @johnalivio lazy, I mean.

  • I love sony but these things just make people la

  • i see theres alot of sony haters here i love em think that is cool so go play with you htc but munchers.........

  • lol added 3D function is awesome :) Can't wait for the XS to come out.

  • прикольно

  • Come on guys... its developing...

  • Funny that he needs a GPS to find his office. LOL :p

  • Just use Tasker. You don't need a Xperia S for that

  • wtf

  • NFC: No one F***ing Cares! :-)

  • @amofreg Haha, FAIL :-)!

  • When will it launch?

  • Smart tag in the toilet:

    Flush the comode

    Clean your ass!!

  • NFC= Near Field Communication (NFC) technology

  • Looks very innovative!

  • This is so COOL!

  • Wow! I can't wait to get this and pair it with my Xperia S :D. Sony is the best

  • @AlexBurnout1 :DDD

  • it even pulls the covers up for you...

  • I never trust my phone to set the alarm on, i reset it 1000 times... how the fuck will i trust this? silent mode at night.. im never waking up :0

  • HAHAHHAHA SO FCUKING USELESS. Is it the 1st of april yet?

  • Smart marketing by Sony and that's it, they are selling something that's already a part of the software. everything it does can be done by GPS location settings without involving a medal looking device. Lets not move backwards. The only use would be in the car when its not parked at a default location like work or home. Bumping your phone to your keys just looks silly.

  • @Snatcholini

but as of now, gps location is not that accurate isn't it?

  • @sleepyearth that's true, but doesn't change the fact that this is not a good product, NFC has a bright future in the way we communicate with machines, this product is not a part of it. Guess i'm just frustrated to see the praise it gets from people that doesn't know what can be done with what we got.

  • people r just gona get lazier and lazier everyday from now

  • Really smart!

  • 1:00

the force is strong with this one

  • Sony is back!!!!!!

  • this is cool man

  • i like the bgm pretty much =D

  • What is smart about it? It is only one step easier than clicking "i'm at home" or "I'm going to bed". You still have to remember to do it. I prefer to switch my profile based on wifi. I don't have to do anything.

  • Been doing that since August - Android Market: "NFC Task Launcher"

  • now thats smart seriously....

  • BECOME

  • THAT ‘S Y PEOPLE BECME LAZY

  • Why not just make a profile in the phone, and things would be easier -.-

  • And of course, ToothTag in the Android marketplace does this with phones that do not have NFC capabilities...

  • sony xperia s, and i want that with the smart tags

  • xperia play ???

  • Mais, c'est l'xperia arc hd!

  • omg this phone sounds to be awesome

  • I've got to say that is a very fantastic idea

  • แซบเว่อร์มาก

  • excellent , superb

    /me กรี๊ดด...เบา ๆ ที่ 99 decibel จะเอารุ่นนี้

  • xperia the best smartphone ever.thumbs up if u agree.

  • Gimmicky.

  • Wow++

  • he's wearing Zara trench coat

  • Is that the new phone going to come out?

  • NFC = Not For Commercial use :P

  • @wenxiang8 dont know why i was thinking football

  • @wenxiang8 tezak 7amra ,, 7lw kda.. :@

  • Such a simple and logical idea! it beautiful! will it only work with past Xperia phones?

  • @EvilerFungus unfortunately no. unfortunately old Xperia phones don't have NFC chip in them..

  • Until now the best idea I've seen to use NFC. Very usefull. The Xperia S, will displace my Samsung Galaxy Note, thats for sure.

  • Interesting! but how much will it be?
