This video really hits home for me. When I was a little girl, I distinctly remember being made fun of at the pool for being overweight. I went into the bathroom stall just to go into the bathroom and two girls did the exact same thing to me as these girls did in the video. I wish someone would have stuck up for me then.

i personally have said quietly to others "wow shes big" but i dont pick on fat people and i have defended them when they are picked on, you never know why a person is the way they are...perhaps they have a glandular problem or had to face some emotional trauma that compells them to eat, i grew up around a women who was raped so she ate until she was so huge she felt like she wasnt appealing enough to be a victim again...that was the whole reason she was fat, because of her trauma and fear

I know this sounds cruel, but she really does need to try and keep fit. Now, I'm not saying what those girls did was right. No. That was inexcusable, gut to some extent they did have a point. Obesityis a serious provlem and medical condition that should not be given sympathy, while at the same time should not be discriminated.

The overwhelming majority of people with type 2 diabetes are overweight. It's fine to be something like a size 14 or 16 (that is just curvy, those are the girls who are big and beautiful) but over that is really just medically unhealthy.
