True, the VP-70 needs the stock in order to fire in burst mode. I live in Michigan, and here pistols including the VP-70 are legal to own, however pistols with stocks are illegal, so are full auto and burst fire weapons. The VP-70M is the one that can take a stock and fire in burst mode, those are illegal to have here without special licensing and modifications to the gun.

I love this gun, but strange thing is, when i have the stock attached, ill pull the trigger and after a few shots the slide will get stuck and i have to push it manually forward. But the upside is, for some reason when I have it in burst mode it actually fires full auto heheh, not a bad compromise

Actualy it is very usefull. These can be used for an easy rifle conversion for an escort. It would be very easy to conseal because it splits into 2 parts which are slim and compact. And it can be used in extreme CQB conditions where somthing like an MP5 would not be logical. Plus it adds accuracy.

Theres no doubt that germany makes the best guns in the world although american guns are not that bad. But the Heckler & Koch VP70 has always been a favorite of mine its way ahead of its time with its sleekish looks and its also extremely well balanced gun. When you fired the gun the recoil is very low and controlled not bad for a gun the fires 9mm parabellum rounds.Who Agrees with me?and the gun was designed in the 1970's for the German milatary.

I just can't get into my head that someone would dislike the look of this gun. The phasing (like an edge or egg) on the front section of the slide just before the outer barrel and the rounded back and how the grip meets it, so sleek and minimal and deliciously futuristic looking.

Its like other people look past this and directly associate to ppks and that sort of school of compacts. I think its obvious its normal sized but some even seem to misstake the size, when its really as big as an 92f/m9.
