I think that is why people tell me they get emotional sometimes listening to one of my songs.We are all emotional souls looking for a bit of light in a sometimes weary world. The guitar staccato sound was a nylon sting classical guitar postioned close to the mic. I overdubbed a second one on the left side. When the strings came in they kind of got lost a bit. At first it was only one classical guitar,then I started to fool with it and added the strings. (Maybe a bit much!). I love the sea and have always felt a deep connection to it. I have some originals about the sea which I will record soon. You know That Pirate at the end can resemble

I'm a 4th year acoustic guitar student. I'm probably not as far along as most 4th year students but then I don't have to be and no-one can make me '-). Frank that's just beautiful man beautiful! I never heard that song but I really loved it Sting is great isn't he? But man you sure did an incredible version,gave it a lilting beat and rhythm had that far away feel like the sea. You sing it with that really fine fanastic voice,you have a melodic voice my buddy. @cbrb40 Hey Rick,Thanks my brother. I love Sting and see myself doing more of excellent songs. I did all the backround music on this. At first it was only one classical guitar,then I started to fool with it and added the strings. (Maybe a bit much!). I love the sea and have always felt a deep connection to it. I have some originals about the sea which I will record soon. You know That Pirate at the end can resemble
you. That was at the Pirate museum in Salem, Mass.

I'm a 4th year acoustic guitar student. I'm probably not as far along as most 4th year students but then I don't have to be and no-one can make me '-). I spend a lot of time cruising on this sea called Youtube looking for acoustic musicians that I can "pirate" some licks from for nothing. I'm on my way to your channel to sign on Matey!
I've not heard Sting's CD but I don't think he could do it this good man. Yes I've heard Sting before, but I stand by my comment.
