If you have a fat belly do not do crunch or sit up first burn your damn belly fat then when it get thin or flat thats when you start to do crunch and situp... works for me...
do em slower and youll feel more burn. fast=momentum slow=strength. also, flex ur abs when you do em for more burn. this exercise actually uses full range of motion as opposed to crunches, etc...
i wonder what is the difference between training the abdominal muscles with the reverse crunch and the simple crunch ?? is the revel crunch for the low abdominals ?
@pollyjaneH It helps target the lower abdominal muscle. While the abdominal muscle is a single muscle, it is possible to work the lower abdominal and stressing it's function.
@pollyjaneH No I believe the reverse crunch is just harder than the normal crunch because it puts the muscle on greater stretch. It works all the abs because although they're referred to as a 6-pack, it is in fact one muscle which when active, is active along its entire length.
