The video is touching for me. I lost my birth father when I was 15 due to suicide, my stepfather died 12 days before my high school graduation in 2010, but I have an adopted dad that's still alive. I'm 20 years old now. There's not a day that goes by that I don't think about them. I think about them all the time.
I started to cry.. It made me wish that I still had my dad.. :'( He died when I was three and a half. I'm fifteen now and I don't remember anything about him. All I can remember is walking into this building thing and seeing his body lying motionless.

Microevolution is changes in gene pools and cells (like amoebas and the breeding of animals AND humans). This episode was touching. At least you guys had some memories about your parents. I share more memories with my grandparents (They raised me) than with my biological parents. My mom was more concerned with her life (We still talk) and my dad didn't want to be a parent. I've had a lot of relatives die over the years, but I've never witnessed it. I'm closest with my grandfather (He's more of my dad). The day he dies, I die in the inside.
My mom is suffering from breast cancer right now im 20 im grown up so im helping her through it along with my dad and my sister were there for her ive helped pay my parents bills i work for a cable company installing cable and internet its a pretty easy job im glad im able to help out my mom and my dad because they raised me thanks for uploading this ive gained a new respect for jeff after this

Although I'm blessed with both a mother & a father, I feel like in some way I can relate. My parents say I'm very mature for my age, and our bond is very close. The both lost their parents when I was @ an early age, but we talk here & there and my understanding of it is alot better. So this vid touches my heart

If i get it right, when Shannon is on the graveyard, he stands a a tombestone which should be the one of his dad. but he said his dad died when he was 9 so his dad should died in the year 1988 or 1989. I know how you guys feel cause I lost my dad at 16 when he was killed in a accident right in front of our house and I had to watch him die cause we lived in the country and it was miles away from a hospital and I had to watch him take his last breathe and he was my hero

Such a powerful ep, and I think the same about people's exits from this life -- that there are plans in place and that the universe has need of different souls at different times and in different places, and we all lose loved ones when there is perhaps a greater need elsewhere for those souls to benefit others the way we benefited from them.

Every time I watch this I get a little teary. I can relate to what your parents feel. Although I did not lose my boy's father in death, it was a way just as heartbreaking. I have never married and raise my two boys 100% on my own as well. I understand exactly trials and tribulations they faced. Bless you all for having made it through so beautifully. Much love.

@mrdsl2217 Oh and you're right. evolution is real and it still happens. the only thing one must observe is that there are two scales of it. Micro- and Macro-evolution. Microevolution is changes in gene pools and cells (like amoebas and the breeding of animals AND humans). Macroevolution is like monkeys turning to humans. only problem with that is that it cannot be proven 100% because this evolution takes millions of years and there's no way to observe it.

@TheMysticWolfAura Disease is not a "sin". It's a necessity. It is supposed to eliminate the weak members of a species so the strong members survive and pass on their DNA. If you want to classify something a "sin", then attempting to eliminate a disease should be considered sinful. Disease (and everything else) was created and has a purpose. It's all part of nature. If you uphold one part of nature, you have to uphold all parts of nature.

i really don't know what its like cause my dad left me and me and my mum when i was a baby and he drowned when i was 6 so i didn't care that much cause i didn't really now what he was like has a dad but growing up i wish he was with us cause there's a few things i can't talk to my mum about just like guy stuff so its been hard for me growing up just shows you life is a very very fragile thing

What can I say except that this part of the episode is truely heart felt and sad at what you guys went through. I can't say that I never lost a parent but I know what tragey feels like at that age and sometimes you can't forget about it but it does makes us what we are today.

This episode was touching. At least you guys had some memories about your parents. I share more memories with my grandparents (They raised me) than with my biological parents. My mom was more concerned with her life (We still talk) and my dad didn't want to be a parent. I've had a lot of relatives die over the years, but I've never witnessed it. I'm closest with my grandfather (He's more of my dad). The day he dies, I die in the inside.

Although I'm blessed with both a mother & a father, I feel like in some way I can relate. My parents say I'm very mature for my age, and our bond is very close. The both lost their parents when I was @ an early age, but we talk here & there and my understanding of it is alot better. So this vid touches my heart

I have just one question. If i get it right, when Shannon is on the graveyard, he stands a a tombestone which should be the one of his dad. but he said his dad died when he was 9 so his dad should died in the year 1988 or 1989. But the tombestone says that his dad died 2003. so i guess he is just telling bullshit all the way. maybe i am wrong but if not it would make me real sick because you don't make joke out of things like that.
