@blackopsking93 should, if it doesnt, it's probably got something to do with the remote sensor... might need to reset it somehow... basically ask at the dealership if it doesnt work.

@djalexr007 Point the smart key to the driver's side door handle and press unlock for about 10 seconds. If it opens then your car is equipped with it.

@Redbull357 first u need to program it to do so, i got a 01 c240 and i had ot program it about 5-6 times lock hold 3 seconds the lock then unlock and hold for 3 seconds, if it dosent program the first time u need several tys before it starts to work, and it works on both sides of the car but u need to bee within 6 feet about once ur to far it wont work. :)

@djalexr007 all the bez are equiped with it its a feature they that comes to make it stand out from other cars, like the guy said it already u need to keep the unlock button to open it but not 10 sec more like 3 to 5 sec to start opening but hte moment u let go the windows will freeze, also it works on both sides not only drivers and on top of tht u need to be within a distacne of about 4' anythign further wont work. and if it dosent work hold the lock button for 10 sec and then the unlock buton

@djalexr007 thts to program it in case its not programed but u need to do it about 5 to 7 times, and p.s. if u ever disconect ur battery for some reason u need to reprogram it again, did tht on mine several times :)

Just hold the unlock button while aiming it at your driver side door handle. They will open like this.

Yea. Our C230 has that option, but actually alot of cars have this option, just alot of people dont even know. Our Lincoln Ls V8 had this too.

No, there is no install. Sometimes if the remote battery is low you have to get closer than I did in the video. Put the remote directly in front of the sensor on the driver door handle and press and hold the unlock button. It will open them.

Is your key the "Smartkey" with the infrared sensor at the tip? I know for a fact that all the C230's have the window feature. It has to be something with your key.

I don't know what else to try... It could be the battery in your car or the door sensor. Try with another remote.

You have to point it at the drivers side door handle and hold down the unlock button on your key. If you've got a smart-key then it has to work... I was even able to do this on a 1997 E420. Put the key into the trunk lock and turn to the left and hold it there. That also opens the windows and sunroof remotely if you have the older smart-key. Let me know if it works. I work closely with MB so I'll get it to work for you.

It still doesn't work...By smartkey I'm guessing you mean the fancy key that doesn't actually have a "key"...its like all plastic...and I also don't know how to use the Panic button thing on my keys... I just got it so I haven't really read anything about it. Maybe I need to program it somehow?

I dont know what you are asking. It does have a built in alarm. With the window open, lock the car and then open the door from the inside... You will hear the alarm.

The Smart Key that comes with the car already is programmed for this. I didn't even know about it until I checked out the Mercedes Website one day.lol It is pretty cool.

haha, it pickes up really well but to be honest, you're not really going to smoke anyone. Its a heavier car and you can definitely feel the weight when you drive it. The supercharger really only kicks in in the higher rpms like to pass people on the freeway but it does feel awesome and sounds cool too! Check out the other videos of the car, it is missing a door molding that wsa out for painting. Some idiot scratched it with their Shopping cart.

yeah i know lol...i test drove it, it's fast enough, especially for a 4 cyl, but its made for high speed cruising, who cares if someone smokes you when your in a benz? lol

Exactly... That's another thing, at high speeds you don't even feel or hear it like in other cars...it really can "cruise" at 100mph... I dont know of any other 4 cylinder sedan that can do that.
