@robm2092 The rules at the time were not Boxing without proper gear. Seidokan and most Karate sports are fought WITHOUT gloves. Strikes to the head with hands are to easy and end the fight to quickly.

Punches are allowed, just not to the head. Its not a bullshit fight, its a very tough fight.

this is seido kai/kan karate-do.....they fight in a boxing ring while other karate styles have kumite(fight) on tatami...seido kaikan have some different rules of kyokushin karate.....main rules are the same..no hand strikes to head..but some others rulles are not the same.....but all in all it is the same kumite type..but for me kyokushin is the first so it is the best..ashihara, seido kai/kan and similar got birth by kyokushin karate...so kyokushin is the best....kyokushin is more traditional

If I didn't have to work I would spend even more time training. Currently I work 9hrs per day 35min travel time each way, train 3.5hrs at night and sleep 5-7hrs. Rest of day is spent on normal activities (eating, shower, toilet) and spending time with my 3 kids...
