@Lawndre4ya Yes, but you will need an addon for that, and that addon doesn't work in MP. Google should help you find it, or else you can ask on arma 2 forums.

@MASTURORVO I ran it at very high, 0x AA, 16x AF, 133% texture fillrate @ 1920x1200... OA runs way better though, and this is probably before any of the patches...

@BDHH100 If I decide to get a simulator, I would have to buy the necessary equipment as well (Rudder controls, thrust and steering wheel). Those things are not exactly cheap either!

@nisseladden: You only need and joystick, if you twist them they are your rudder and they usually have throttle control. They are anything between £20 to £100+ $30-$100

No one is talking total realism here. But there are limits after which the object simulated is not accepted as the one based on smth in reality. Which is this case precisely.

@ShadeAKAhayate I see your point but it's a military sim not a flight sim. This game focuses mostly on infrantry combat. It's also sluggish because he's recording it, which drops the framerate by heaps. As for the ugly, it is in places, but other parts are amazing. Youtube doesn't exactly do it justice either.

ARMA 2 is a great game... they could have done a better job. Voices suck but VopSound V2 I guess compensates for that. People can mod it and make it better like Garrysmod (also awesome idea, needs lots of work). AI can be retarded. Plenty of bugs but they seem to knock them out pretty fast.

But anyways I think this game is amazing and I really look forward to Dragon Rising as well.

Arma 2 wins with the vehicles though.
