can someone please help me with the guitar? Its a problem i have with barr chords. I roll my finger back and put more than enough pressure to play all the strings. But the G string always gets muted.

Hello, great lessons. I have been playing and doing exercises for about 5 years and have yet to achieve any speed or technique. I believe that I have developed tension or just in the bad habit of pressing to hard. What advise do you have on proper technique, and speed development?

if you number the notes in the scale 1 to 12 then repeat them 12 11 10 9 / 11 10 9 8 / 10 9 8 7 and so on it is easier to remember from my experience. you can do it in 2s 3s 4s 5s 6s and 7s and really come up with some good licks once you can do it fast.

And there's alot of guitar "teachers" out there that think being a great guitar player, means that you're also a great guitar teacher. Doesn't work that way. In my experience I would recommend a few real lessons in the beginning to get started, then with the help of the internet you're good to go

I love your videos, because even though you have DVD's, you still put out a full help video here on youtube...some people will act like it is a full help video...but wait...they never finish the lesson and leave you hanging with information that isn't complete just so you can buy their DVD. dude ur awsome this is one of the first ways i learned the a minor pentatonic scale but i think it's best to do it in all positions down the neck that way you don't get stuck in the box frame scale of it all
