I am just playing this game on the 3DS, first I thought "wtf this is uncontrollable" but when I found out that there are deep gameplay mechanics such as the little boost thing when tapping the accelerator button the game turned out to be amazing.

@starfox300 indeed. i've heard some stories about people who got introduced to this game via the 3DS complained about the controls and that it's too hard. but once you start seeing how deep it is you see what great game it is, and then for those who enjoy hardcore racing games it gets highly addictive.
