Youre right, I was surprised too. His confidence allows him to do anything on stage and make it convincing. Billy Joel, the man, the legend. The nostalgia I get from this song is immense, and he did it such justice despite the fact he played it solo.
It's great to hear this song with only piano.

I think it also proves those nay-sayers who say, "He's lost his voice" so wrong.
If he had lost his voice - those wicked high parts would have been in some kind of falsetto... but he just owns his music so well.
