I am not bashing Iden phones but if you do not need the walkie talkie or live in a area where Iden works better than cdma, do not buy a Iden phone. I would but the cdma blackberry before the i1.

My Blackberry Curve 8530 from Boost is 100 % better then the i1. I don't need to download any APP to see youtube & I don't need WiFi for youtube. I have WiFi on my 8530 but I don't need it,but I do use free hot spots when I can. Don't get the i1 get the 8530 for $200 less & 100 X the phone. iDEN network is to slow. CDMA is so much faster.
Believe it or not I think it's a great idea that they made this phone because there are towns here in Iowa (the rural areas mostly) that still have iDEN towers but have nothing else than the regional carrier, US Cellular around. Sprint CDMA covers a lot but not all of the bigger cities over 10,000 in Iowa but iDEN does, and it's nice to offer variety!

I love the intercept but it is not perfect. I suggest, 1. Close off the apps that you are not using. 2. Do not download a million apps to your phone. 3. Do not download a bunch of shortcuts to your screens. It takes a ton of tweaks to keep the intercept running.

One more thing, Boost Mobile is due for A cdma smartphone. The i1 is a iden phone. $399 is nuts. The text. web and call quality is better on the Incognito. The only apps that work on the Incognito is opera and bolt browser. Getjar apps sucks.
I do not have a computer and the incoginito is my only way to check my mail, watch mobile youtube, surf the web. I use opera mini and bolt browser. If you have google email you can download small pdf files without graphics. The calender is decent. Call quality sucks without a ear piece. You can use the incognito on pay as you go. It is not perfect but practical. The bad is I wish the screen was bigger. The touchscreen sucks.

No flash on incognito camera. The camera is decent but it is arkward to use. No youtube on rant. I have opera mini 4 and 5 browser. The email client is cool. You can set up hotmail yahoo google accounts. The touchscreen on the incognito is completely useless. I never use it. Boost is due for some new phones sometime over the next 3 months. They might get a andriod phone that is cdma. The i1 is iden.

If the phone name begin with an I. Don't buy.
I think that boost offers good packages per month. I pay $50 dollars per month all unlimited including international calling with the walkie-talkie. So I can call as much as I want to Mexico City for no additional charges. And per year that I stay with Boost they deduct a $5.00 (I think it's called something like the shrinkage) I used to pay $60 for all the unlimited services, and now I pay $50. NO contracts, no nothing.
Unless you need the walkie talkie, DO NOT BUY any Iden phone. Forget the price. Iden phones suck on the web, text and phone calls. My Sanyo incognito {$99} has 3g and I can watch youtube videos anywhere I want. Plus my text and web are faster than the i1. I am a former Iden Customer {I880, i870, i415.}

I do not have a computer and the incoginito is my only way to check my mail, watch mobile youtube, surf the web. I use opera mini and bolt browser. If you have google email you can download small pdf files without graphics. The calender is decent. Call quality sucks without a ear piece. You can use the incognito on pay as you go. It is not perfect but practical. The bad is I wish the screen was bigger. The touchscreen sucks.

I have this phone right now it really nice it awsome!! BUT! i dont know what the problem is i cant receive any phone calls when im on the web and that is very bad because this phone cost me nearly $500 and i CANT recieve phone calls when im on web if that cant be fixed than this phone is awful because what if someone is giving me and emergency call?

No flash on incognito camera. The camera is decent but it is arkward to use. No youtube on rant. I have opera mini 4 and 5 browser. The email client is cool. You can set up hotmail yahoo google accounts. The touchscreen on the incognito is completely useless. I never use it. Boost is due for some new phones sometime over the next 3 months. They might get a andriod phone that is cdma. The i1 is iden.

Unless you need the walkie talkie, Do not buy the i1. Text, web, call quality suck on all iden phones. I have had know problem with the incognito. My text show up fast. Blackberry is $60 a month. That leaves the rant and incognito. The volume on calls on the incognito is low. You will need a ear piece. But you get youtube and the phone is 3g. Rant has a touchscreen. If the phone name begin with an I. Don't buy.

I think that boost offers good packages per month. I pay $50 dollars per month all unlimited including international calling with the walkie-talkie. So I can call as much as I want to Mexico City for no additional charges. And per year that I stay with Boost they deduct a $5.00 (I think it's called something like the shrinkage) I used to pay $60 for all the unlimited services, and now I pay $50. NO contracts, no nothing.

My Sanyo incognito {$99} has 3g and I can watch youtube videos anywhere I want. Plus my text and web are faster than the i1. I am a former Iden Customer {I880, i870, i415.}

Yes my internet is slow but that is because I bought the only phone I could afford at the time the piece of shit $50 one with mobile web software from 8 years ago lol. if and when it will get an upgrade to new android os... will the videocamera and camera be enhanced? its just that the video captures a lil slow but not unbearable but it would be nice to get at least 30 frames per second for the price that we pay for this phone. that and the 1.5 are the only thing that is keepin me from getting on this beast and going to boost. other than that my dad has it and loves it
