I know what it feels to loose someone you care about. I lost also a family member. He was only 17. Died of cancer. I've been Grieving since April, 2011. I also wrote a song when he died but, I don't know how to play a guitar. I only wrote lyrics. Don't worry about the whispery effect it sounds like your sad, which is perfect for a song about someone who is gone. You wouldn't want to sound happy. I was also 14 when it happened. Now I'm 15 years old. You sound great. :)
@101chickchat i am very sory to hear that. watching someone go through cancer or experiencing it is hard, and i totally 100% feel for you. grieving is a never ending progress, it just hastens thats all. whether your 4, 80, or 15, grieving is hard and i wish you well. memories are the best thing. I dont hold regret or sadness about losing my dad anymore, i love to laugh about the memories, he was a great and funny man. and im sure your family member was to. memories are the best to hold on to <3
@101chickchat also! those lyrics you wrote, why not put into a poem and frame it ? :) would be a good keep sake otherwise learn just like i did :) or find someone who can play an instrument :) someone you trust. otherwise its nice to keep things to your self. there are some songs i write, that i decide its jsut for me, so i keep them to myself :)
