What an actress! Shame she works at Sears now ;(( Kristy should still be working.
If mother/daughter subject interests you visit Filmfeline, soon to be a published book will have a notice on that site, you'll cry your eyes out from the story. Promise.
this is my favorite movie of all time...and everyone knows it. Best scene is when Marsha is calling her doctor and he isn't in, right before her slip. CLASSIC...I have worn out 2 VCR tapes already, I need this to come out on DVD...
even amazon doesn't have this one? I miss this movie...it's in my head ever since I saw this when I was young...I never got bored with this movie...it's funny,..it made me cry...and it touch me..the friendship...the mother daughter relationship...
As a recovering alcoholic, this movie meant a lot to me. Kind of a "been there done that" felling in this opening monologue.

Wish someone would post this. They posted it up before, but they took it down. I don't know why they'd take it down when it isn't even out on DVD .
Anyway, thanks

This movie is effin great. Marsha Mason is stellar and Kristy really shines, especially in the scene where she tells her mother off.
