  • She needs a young priest and old priest

  • This Enigma person is so violent..looks like some kind of obsession or something..really scary

  • I watched this with my mouth wide open...it's intresting .. she must be so hurt, can't imagine..sad :(

  • "You're still in Texas, it's 1992... " Kurt Cobain is still alive, music doesn't suck.

  • omg...that's incredibly scary! Can you imagine going through that?!

  • The eight year old was SO cuteeee<3

  • I have mpd, but Im scared to get therapy. Does anyone know if this would help to get rid of it or help it?

  • @Tattgirl64

What makes you think you have MDP?

  • @Waltham1892 I have 2 alters that have been there since I was 9. And I'm 19 now.

  • @Tattgirl64

You've had two alters since you were nine?

Ok, now that I know you are attention seeking what else would you like to talk about?

  • @Waltham1892 First of all, fat troll that I shouldn't even be feeding with this comment:

I wasn't asking you. I was asking someone that would perhaps have legitimate knowledge about the matter. You, on the other hand, do not. You don't know me or anything about my life. IF I wanted your opinion I would have asked you. But I didn't. So don't give it to me. If you don't like the comment, then don't reply. Simple as that. Who would want to lie about something like that.

  • @Tattgirl64

"Why would (I) want to lie about something like that"

Because when you are 19 there are worse things than presenting with a disorder that makes you exotic, unique, and special.

You said something foolish in a public forum to gain attention and you got attention. That its not the form of attention you wanted is to be expected (maybe a good question would be why you are seeking attention).

Now, make your angry response, hit the block button, and get on with your life.

  • @Waltham1892 I'm angry because 1:

I indeed fed an obese internet troll.

2.) Again-you know nothing about my life what so ever, so who are you to pass judgement. All I asked was if anyone knows if therapy is effective, and why I was asking. I in no way shape or form want attention from wastes of air like yourself; who think they know everything when they really know nothing about a disease they don't even have.

I'm actually sad for you because you are so ignorant.

  • @Tattgirl64

I'm sorry. I got bored half way through the first sentence, called up your account, and hit the block button.

One of advantage of being old is you don't have to argue with children.

  • @Waltham1892 He just made a question, even if he has DID or not that's not the point. You are the one who started the argument by taunting him!!! The advantage of being old is that you don't have the ignorence to enter in a fight without porpuse.!!!

  • @argenta1988

I have a purpose, to prove that MPD/DID is an illogical and unscientific clinical fad which has caused a great deal of harm during its short existance.

  • @Waltham1892 That's incredibly ignorant. To deny that the phenomenon itself exists is ignorant. It may not be what they claim, but even faking it demands an explanation for why people fake it. They're not faking it, though.

  • @LanceHertford

It is not arrogant to say that if the science does not support a theory, then the theory can not be true.

It is the height of arrogance to say that a theory is true even though the science does not support it.

As for why people "fake it", therapeutic and cultural demand characteristics, attention seeking, deflection, psychosis, and/or poor clinical practice.

And that’s just what I can think of on a Monday morning before I've had my tea.

  • @Waltham1892 Ignorant, not arrogant. I think you're under the impression that psychology is a HARD science, like mathematics or chemistry. That's simply not the case.

  • @LanceHertford

The practice of psychology is not a hard science, just as the practice of medicine is not (though to a lesser degree).

However, cognitive psychology, neuropsychology, and neurology are all hard sciences.

I notice you like the word “arrogant.” I would assume you mean knowing what one is talking about rather than nursing fantastic ideas with no factual basis.

  • @Waltham1892 Explain to me, what is illogical and unscientific about MPD/DID?

  • @Waltham1892 Explain to me, what is illogical and unscientific about MPD/DID?

  • @bookercreator

MPD/DID makes assumptions about neural organization and consciousness we know to be untrue.

The brain is massively interconnected, making discrete centers of consciousness impossible. Further, the human mind now seems to be an emergent property of numerous processing areas performing simple specialized functions. This means if you divide the brain up you do not end up with small minds just like cutting up a computer does not give you small computers.

  • @Waltham1892 Maybe they are connected, just not consciously, maybe these "alternate mind" is just a part of the person hidden in subconsciousness. Is that possible? I'm definitely no expert on this stuff, but I am interested.

  • @bookercreator

That’s another problem, there is no such thing as a "hidden subconscious." That is a Freudian concept which has been rendered obsolete by cognitive psychology and neuroscience.

  • @Waltham1892 Does this mean that people are incapable of dissociating and having no memory of traumatic events?

  • @MrsSarb

You are talking two different things.

Can people dissociate? Yes, its a common experience.

Can people have no memory of traumatic events? No, half the purpose of memory is to recall traumatic events so that we can avoid them. Memory provides an evolutionary advantage.

However; memory is very malleable. It can be lost, altered and tainted by past or current experience.

You also can not repress memory; in order to do that you have to remember what you want to forget.

  • @Waltham1892 Well I'm sorry to tell you this, but you are just wrong. I have repressed memories. I remember everything up until a specific point. It is documented and the person who injured me went to prison so it's not something that I've just concocted out of nothing. There is a point where the memories just flat out stop. I also experienced it during a severe physical illness. I've also been told by doctors it is normal and fairly common.

  • @MrsSarb

I want you to picture a blue elephant in your mind.

Now I want you to forget it, forever.

I want you to be able to see a blue elephant, think of blue elephants, and never remember this conversation took place.

Do you think you can do that?

  • the little girl was cute as hell !!!! shame her life has been destroyed by an extremely sick individual...hope the therapy will help her rebuild her life !

  • i have mpd im going to be taking therapy soon

  • the 8 year old version of her is so cute :3

  • Sorry for the language but it is true. This is just sad. I csnt believe what kind of people would do this. And before people go on about rapists and hate me becuase i dint know what it's like, let me tell you. My grandad was a pedophile. He married and divorced 7 times. He killed puppies. He almost killed my dad when he saw him(my dad and grandma left him for fear of murder). I cant see him becuase my dad is scared he will rape or abuse me and my sisters. So dont hate me.

  • This is sad. A sick motherf****ng b****** hurt this poor child for his own twisted amusement, destroying a person. This scum filled b****** should be torn apart by each ligiment, buried alive, set on fire and head driven on a stick while rabid dogs sh** out his remains. And that's NOT even appropriate punishment for him. If that sick d*** is reading this, F*** YOU! I HOPE YOU BURN IN HELL!!! YOU MAKE ME SICK!! How the hell do you sleep at night!???!! I hope you get raped by pigs you sicko.

  • People who hurt children for their sick sexual fantasies deserve to be tortured slowly and painfully for the rest of their lives. Death would be to too good for them! Just imagined if it was my child going through this... cbfgfedgfde!!!!

  • i guarantee it's her father...and he should be imprisoned for life

  • i have mpd ive had it for four years now ive not told anyone but my closest friends which ive only done recently ive considerd telling my parents but not done it as im afraid they will send me to threapy. i dont want this though, i love my other personalty she helped me through bad times. however i do feel a need to tell my parents to make it easyer for me and them. im not sure if its a good idea to hide it anymore.

  • @roastmutton111 usually, the therapist will say it's up to you. You don't have to do a treatment and reintegrate if you don't want to, In fact, it's pretty much impossible if you not willing, since it's a lot of work and takes up to several years.

  • @MPDKatina ^^ thank you, i just thought you should know that you gave me the courage to talk to my mum about it, it turned out well and i feel much better knowing its off my chest. thank you

  • @roastmutton111 you're welcome :) hope it goes well for you.

  • this woman is clearly possessed.....see Jinn posession

  • She doesn't even remember!

  • a truth serum? really?!?!

  • @amyyyamy yup it works and used in interrogations sometimes

  • this is fascinating and really itneresting to watch. its great people are willing to let others watch their transformations. not sure i would be this brave

  • maybe its not good a male therapist touches and holds her.if it was a man who abused her.

  • The things that have happened to these people are absolutely horrible =(. The trauma and tortue that occurs to create these alters in the first place. If anyone would like learn more about MPD I suggest a book Called "A Life In Peices" by a Phychiatrist named Richard K. Baer who treated a Woman named Karen Overhill who had 17 different personalities inside of her. It is a truely amazing book and is a true story. Also anyone with MPD that would like to talk, please do not hesitate to contact me.

  • only God and my dog know I have other identities. I wish i was as strong as her and face what's hidden.

  • I’m a councilor and I STRONGLY disagree with drugs to deal with DID, people with DID are not experiments, when trauma happens a piece of the core person separates from the core person holding that part of the trauma, and more alters and more trauma that person been through, when the alters are ready to deal with the pain they will talk to a trust person about that pain. Drugs are NOT the way. If you have DID and would like to talk or have questions about it let me know ok

  • @mrcooldude964 I have a friend whit it.. can I pvt you?

  • @mrcooldude964 Thank you thank you thank you for saying this. Our trauma involved being drugged. We would absolutely lose it if the people we were forced to rely on drugged us. We wouldn't be able to stand it. Even just watching this scares us. Thank you for understanding that.

  • wow...this could be weird if you date this kind of person and the bad one comes out. kicking ur ass for dating.

  • if you have mpd, you should charge the other personalities rent, that way you could make a fortune

  • MPD is a very scary thing, and it is something you cannot escape. There is no therapy that can cure you - only you can cure yourself, and the willpower that takes that is ENORMOUS. It's stronger than an addiction to heroin, and that's pretty much what MPD is - an addiction that makes you feel better about yourself by, ironically, destroying yourself.

  • I nearly cried when I hear the innocent 8-year-old personality came out and talked about the "hurting heart" :( poor girl.

  • btw it was at 6:52

  • Oh my god. This video is very informative, but what disturbed me the most is the so called therapist getting turned on as she starts to tell her story. I mean are you serious? Asswipe.

  • Anyone who says they want this is trying to get a reaction or they dont understand how it happens or the effect it has. I dont have it and I dont fully understand it but it makes sense. You get abused as a child and conditionally your brain develops a mechanism to protect yourself by creating figures in your mind that you think are real and have their own lives. What I dont understand is how so many people on youtube have this disorder. Just about every comment is someone with it

  • I study psychology and one day hope to be a clinical psychiatrist.

I know you have to behave professional and I believe I will not show any emotion on the out side, but, on the inside I'd cry, it's so sad to see her like she is at 2:20 as a child remembering all those things when you think at the time mentally she is just a child. =(

anyone commenting on this saying they wish they could have DID/PMD, are ignorant to the seriousness and reality of the condition, think before you speak.

  • Who the fuck would want this?

    TRY HARD TEENAGERS THAT'S WHO

  • 0.0 Whoa... scary stuff here...

  • I have seen some disturbing comments about people WANTING to have this disorder...i have it and let me tell all of you something...in order to develop this, you have to go through something SO TRAUMATIC and HORRIBLE that this occurs...if you think you want to go through what those like me have gone through then you are sick and really need some help...this isn't a fad or cool to have...it's horrible and inescapable (not even sure if that is a word).

  • @taylormadediva2009 can u control it and how do u switch and when u switch does somebody make u mad then u swithch or u just switch just like that?

  • I DO wanna have MPD/DID..

  • @DevAzazel Good luck with that.

  • @DevAzazel

    No You don't. Promise!

First of all, the way how you get it is something you wish nobody to experience and besides the cool stuff, there is a lot, human mind can't comprehend so far. Its Pain, Agony, Fear and lots of it.

Imagine not being able to sleep longer than two hours a night for 8 Years .... you're a wreck.

Nothing you ever want to have.

  • I believe tht maybe jst some ppl can only help themselves

  • Srry it's my stupid iPad,bt wat I'm sayin is I think I might've suffered anti social disorder for bout 2 months,nd the other day I was talking to myself,bt the thing is,i haven't had ne childhood trauma, srry guys Ik u guys reading this arnt phycatrists bt I jt wanted to add this

  • Sad.

  • whoever did this to her should be killed and burned in hell forever

  • A lot of people don't believe in repressed memories or suggest that therapists implant these memories. I think both the repressed memories themselves and the implantation theory are real. People DO block out things that are too hard to cope with (especially children, who have amazing defences) & people are vulnerable to suggestion. That said being told what happened, or finding evidence to unlock a memory does not happen like on TV. I'll explain in another box...

  • @ShayLee0501 I was in an orphanage type place for a while in the 80s, where I was abused according to my birth mother but I don't remember any that. However, makes sense because I remember hating being near certain people & I have one memory that I recall only until halfway through, then it cuts to blackness & terror. I've been told what happened by a witness & it makes sense, but even knowing what happened has not changed the last half of the memory remaining repressed for almost 30 years.

  • @ShayLee0501 that's exactly right... people do suppress memories or block them, and yes they can be vulnerable to suggestion. What kills me are these therapists keeping people sick for years upon years looking for insight and hidden memories when they don't 100% NEED those to get better. We would all want to know if it was us but you don't have to know to move forward.

  • @RampantArtist I agree. Knowing the full extent of what happened to me is highly unlikely in my opinion to help me move forward. If anything it will only darken my opinion of the world. It would be better to work on the immediate problems of learning to trust people (within reason) and coping strategies to enjoy life. As to the therapists implanting memories and keeping people sick, well it keeps the dollars rolling in and sometimes makes a great basis for books bring more money in.

  • im really curious about this thing called MPD/DID ..

  • @iizhaa005 See my english film about the Anneliese Michel "Exorcism" case, and my film about Jan-Carl Raspe and Ulrike Meinhof.

  • abuse... wow, terrible effects...
