  • how old are these guys

  • i wouldve bet ONE million dollars that Ryan would win....

  • @kingtwenty20 Well I would've bet you ONE million dollars that Ryan would've lost.

  • dude in white t looks like Glover

  • Ryan won! I wasn't expecting Ryan to win.

  • Ryan tapped all four guys at the ADCC trials with 2 50/50 heelhooks, a Darce choke, and a mounted armlock. He went on to beat Jeff Glover for the Bronze medal at ADCC 2009 in Barcelona. He looked very impressive, and though he lost to leo Vieira, he even gave Leo some problems.

  • Oh, you thought Ryan would win?

  • @ooogooman they are both named ryan wtf

  • @TerribleOne718 Welcome to THE JOKE, population fifteen. Please enjoy your stay.

  • @ooogooman lmao OHHHHHHHHHH....ima go hide in shame now.

  • @ooogooman No, dude. Ryan LOST. It was quite a surprise, too. I was even rooting for Ryan. Instead, Ryan stole the win, right at the end of the video. Oh well. Ryan'll have better luck next time. =D

  • 50 50 is sooooo ay

  • Does anyone have the Ryan Hall vs. Sonny Match from the trials? Or any other finals matches?

  • I watched a bunch of Halls matches that day, he's a beast! Very impressive!

  • @10thPlanetWatch yup, i saw his match VS Hermes Franca.

it was great slick technical match.

  • I knew Ryan would win.

  • Mark my words, This young man will be one of the greatest grapplers ever! Let's hope he does not make the jump to mma.

I would love to see Ryan vs Eddie Bravo. The two most flexible BJJ guys.

  • Nino Schembri is not only far better than either, but also far more flexible.

    Look 'im up.

  • Nino Schembri is an amazing grappler. He's just not as well known as Ryan Hall

  • Why do you want him to not go into mma?

  • He has a lot left to accomplish in grappling. He needs to get his black belt, and get some Gi wins that are up to par with his no-gi credentials. I would like to see him take BJJ as far as he can take it. He has so much potential.

  • ryan would kill eddie. Eddie's out of fight shape and plays rubber guard too but he doesnt live off of it like bravo. So he knows the defenses. Ryan's been training for ADCC like four months bravo's been teaching. No Contest ryan wins 50/50 heel hook or rear naked choke in 3:30 max. Depending on what Bravo gives him. And nino is better i agree dab539

  • naw bravo is to good to just give up a leg or his neck if he was to win it would be points plus bravo is an excellent teacher now there is no point for him to compete he is living the life

  • @mmagamer4life bravo did virtually nothing in bjj except for catch a gracie one time.He had a lot to prove after that but ran like a bitch. He is a good teacher but he hasnt proven himself and hes still a young man.

  • @mmagamer4life lol eddie bravo is to good to give up a leg in 50/50 guard? apparently your retarded because it's impossible not to get your leg attacked from 50/50 guard. eddie bravo would have nothing to offer ryan hall, and theirs no way in hell he is passing ryan's guard, eddie bravo is a good instructor, shitty competitor. he has beat one person. he isn't a world champion, euro champion, pan am champion, and adcc medalist, eddie bravo is a nobody in the competition world.

  • Ryan would murder him.

  • Why Eddie Bravo? What's so great about Eddie besides his teaching abilities? I;d rather see Ryan against Glover again, or Bill Cooper, or Rafael Mendes, or a Cobrinha rematch.

  • @WhtMike2006 work ethic. flexibility. qualifying and winning matches at abu dhabi as a brown belt. inventing a guard system, being a corner man to top MMA fighters such as dan hardy. if it werent for eddie bravo you wouldnt even have submission and knockout replays on UFC fights, as he does this. He has several successful competitors in mma and jiu jitsu, he was one of the machados best students, he is also a musician and on top of all that he did/does these things as a huge pothead.

  • @matwizard Look most of what you said falls under his teaching abilities (systematic approach, rubber guard, corner man, UFC truck, great student, has good guys fighting, etc.) I'm asking why people want to see a 25 year old Ryan fight a 40+ year old innovater and teacher that hasn't fought in 8 years. I want to see the top players fight... That's my point. I'm not dogging Eddie at all. He's super legit and done so much for BJJ. But to say he's known as some vicious competitor would be false.

  • @WhtMike2006 excuse the shit out of me. i thought age had nothing to do with it? who cares, if the skill level is there then let them compete. you dont think fabio gurgel still doesnt own marcelo?(he does and there are videos out there to prove it), you dont think ricardo liborio doesnt still walk through most of his black belts? you dont think rickson owns every faixa preta he comes across? or murillo bustamante? or mario sperry? the list goes on and on. if youve still got it, then why not?
