I have a strange interest in this since I am not clear on the 'science' other than the occurence of random systems and my own fascination with overarching ideas like some organizing principle perhaps of a universal nature... makes this beautiful.
It hasn't yet. But there are some small random influences that might cause this to be the case. You could say that it is already in some form of equilibrium - the structural integrity remains constant even though the form is changing.

is this the way a structure emerges when dynamically vibrated such as in cymatics?
Faraday wave action isn't required, but describes ideal "dynamic" situations.... However, If this is related, I would love to know. -shadoan
