  • Thank GOD that wasn't a fight! My bf & I have raised a pure breed blue pit (Pudge the runt) he is the sweetest dog. Now my bf and I live in two seperate homes looking to get a house together. Pudge got along w/ 1 older small poodle but he hasn't been around other dogs. I have a 2 year old Shiba Inu/American Eskimo Mix (Emma). I was SO scared that they might fight & thought this video was a result of what I have to expect. Now I'm gonna share this with my bf. Do you think they'll get along well?

  • @LiLPeanutXoXo I gave it that title just to annoy people who really wanted to see two dogs fight (you'd be surprised how many people are really hoping to...it's sad). I think it doesn't depend so much on the breeds, but the personalities of the dogs. Does the Shiba Inu spend a lot of time around other dogs? If they have both been well socialized with other dogs, just introduce them on neutral ground so neither feels obligated to defend his/her turf.

  • that wasn't a fight. That was just scratch and sniff -___-

  • my shiba inu does the same thing when play fighting, he whips his little butt around like a tail whip to avoid getting bit

  • Love it. I have a 3 year old Shiba Inu and just got a Pit bull puppy & they play constantly....love both my girls!!!

  • I love that you post videos like this to prove to people that it's all about the training (:

  • How old is the Shiba Inu??? Whats her Name :)

  • how old is the pitbull is look small compare to the other

  • I have a 7 month cream Shiba boy and he lives with 2 pitbulls. One is 8 months (boy) and the girl is 2 years.. he is a much "bigger" dog because he plays with them all day.. But they get together extremely well.. I will have to make some videos

  • I saw the quotation marks around "vicious" and "fight" lol. This reminds me of years ago when my German Shepherd/Australian Cattle Dog and my friend's Husky/Collie used to wrestle and play fight together. They were better matched in size, tho, and used to really "get into it" with "sound effects," play biting and wrapping their legs around each other and wrestling. It was hilarious to watch and actually fooled some people who didn't know dogs into thinking they were really fighting.

  • pitbulls are fucking powerfull, just bring them up well.

  • lovely shiba inu, oh and the pit bull :)

  • lol at 1:18 the pit bull was like '' w8 i have an itch...ok we can fight again'' lol. oh and ppl read the description its not a real fight there just playin god sake btw lovely shiba inu, oh and the pit bull aswel :)

  • Haha, great video. Reminds me of when we used to have our Doberman. Our Shiba, despite being about a third the size of the Dobie, would always start random little spats to remind our Dobie who was boss.

Absolutely beautiful Pitbull too, always preferred Pitbulls with this body type rather than the bully bodies.

  • Awww thats so cute ^^

  • Awww so cute ^^

  • So cute! You have great looking dogs!

  • I have a female shiba inu. They are great unique dogs. :) Mine can be very dominant though, so I have to be careful introducing her to other dogs. Especially in the begining. She has a tendency to not like other female dogs so much hehe

  • woot this video is 3 times as good, song + shiba + pitbull llllooooovvvveeee :D

  • i was sick when i saw the title

  • @EoinGlynn903 And then you actually watched it and realized it was sarcasm, I'm sure. I would love to disappoint any people who are truly looking for dog fight videos.

  • @dragonfly1030 of course i was glad it was sarcasm!!!

  • Lol this is to funny..the brown one deffinatly won

  • OMG!!! I've been wanting a shiba AND I own a pit bull... this vid is perfect.. =D Makes me wanna look for a shiba even more! what gender are they?

  • @shmortXcourt Both female

  • Thats not a Fight...

  • @TheCrystal1943 Congratulations! You've mastered sarcasm.

  • This is the most hardcore fight i have seen in years.

  • @shumut ikr!!

  • shiba was totally pwned! lol

  • aww looks like my house hold. that is funny

  • Hahaha, our Shiba's 'fight' the same way. My guy will jump up to get at a bigger dog, and then throw his butt around like it's a hammer. I'm also thinking of getting a pitbull, hopefully my two get along as good as your two do.

  • two females?

  • ROFL. Them walking all in circles

    LMAOO 1:20~ XD

  • my dogs make each other bleed when they fight this is them when there walking not even play fight...

  • @brockturnewitsch Right. The title is sarcastic...

  • Our shiba does the butt toss move all the time as well.

  • The shiba totally started that fight

  • @1256twilightfan they usually do, unfortunately i have a 5 year old shiba who thinks she is tougher than pits

  • plzz be very carefull cuzz sometimes when a dogs wagging itz tail it can mean happiness but it can also mean crazed 2 attack n 2 tell the difference is if the dogs wagging itz tail fast n repeatily itz mad n crazed 2 attack but if itz wagging itz tail kinda fast kinda slow n looks happy then itz a sign of happpiness n ready 2 play hop that helped

  • These two dogs know each other very well. The title was intended sarcasm. :)

  • @Mrbirdfreak7 You are a ridiculous person. Please stop breathing.

  • that pitbull has a pretty color

  • @tintin25fly Thank you! :)

  • Great pair!!!

  • whats that song again??

  • Bodies, by Drowning Pool

  • That isn't a full pit.. :)

  • Part lab.

  • I can totally see that.. :)

  • MY Shiba runs the show with my German Shepherd. He bosses her around all the time and she is very submissive to him. What's really strange he eats MORE than she does which makes no sense at all.Maybe he's really mixed with pig-I dunno!!

  • Haha, I'm not surprised--Shibas have a way of making themselves heard! :)

  • @dragonfly1030 -Yeah, sometimes he can be a real little S**T. I love him to death but he is a brat-LOL

  • Cool! :)

  • Thx. i enjoy your video. I love shiba inu but pit bull....... i am ok with it. But are they very fierce??

  • Nope! That's the point of this video...

  • haha. What is this song arhx????

  • Drowning Pool - Bodies

  • such an epic fight, especially at 00:21

  • omg so much blood

  • aww they are cuties

  • srry

  • I have a pit bull and a shiba and they look just like this hahaha

They're pretty good together as well.

  • Me too!

  • I agree that a dog will be anything that it's master trains it to be, but I am really tired of people putting misleading titles on their videos just so people will watch them. No offense. It's becoming a really common thing on YouTube and it wastes people's time.

  • Fair enough, but 1) people actively searching out dog fight videos on here deserve to be disappointed, and 2) it provided an opportunity to address some misconceptions about the two breeds depicted.

  • amen

  • Wastes people's time? Isn't that why we're on Youtube; to waste time?

  • In my opinion, they are not hard to train because they are quite intelligent; however, they have a reputation of being difficult, stubborn, and/or aloof. I feel it is undeserved.

  • My dog is the same way, nothing can stop her from playing with random dogs. My family always jokes saying that if a robber came to our house she would walk away with him no problem. -.-

  • Haha, if a robber brought treats, he or she would not have a problem! :-P

  • Nice Shiba, I have one myself going on 3 years. They are so mindful of they're owners. 2 retired police dogs came over to me while I walked my Shiba Shadow and were snarling and shadow snipped one and bit the other on the tummy. I say they will protect what they love.

  • My Shiba fought off two attacking pit bulls by herself. She was fearless.

  • The music makes me laugh XD Both dogs are beautiful.

  • Nice vid , but the choice of music made me lol repeatedly

  • Cute!!

  • wow. how in the world did you get the shiba to be...well, allow the other dog to come near the face without striking???...my 3.5 female shiba strikes and has biten me once and dog behaviorist have told me to just not get her around dogs and basically not to even try because it's their nature. i would LOVE to get some tips. i refuse to just give up. my dog is so sweet except for this one thing. your dog is a true inspiration for me.

  • That's a really nice thing to say! Really, I think it's just a matter of one-on-one dog experiences. Shelby has always been a bit aloof with other dogs, but not aggressive; she's known Holly since she was a pup, so that helps. It is NOT "their nature" to be aggressive, but shibas do have to be told where the boundaries lie. If you need any further guidance, let me know, I'll send you a message.

  • Its so cute how shelby was standing up, like she was saying "we're the same size see"!

  • Haha :)

  • Your Shiba Inu kind of looks like a cat when she plays! She keeps her butt to the other dog, and kinda scoots in for the pounce around 0:48. Haha. :)

  • Shibas are very feline-like in their demeanor, so you hit that nail on the head. :) She loves to use her butt as a defense mechanism, haha.

  • Are these two both your dogs? They're kind of behaving like they've just met for the first time.

And I agree, these breeds really do get a bad rap. It's good that a lot of youtubers are posting videos like these to change the stereotypes.

  • These two have known each other for years; the pitbull mix is my friend's dog. My shiba is just a timid player with other dogs, so the pit was kind of waiting for her to do her own thing and reacting to it to try to her encourage her. :)

  • I love that you made this video to show people that temperment goes on a dog by dog basis, not by breed ... and how important training is!! You and Jen have wonderful dogs and it is always a joy to see them!

  • I'm so glad Shelby is finally figuring out she's a dog and that it's okay to let loose now and then! She was playing with Holly in a similar way to how she plays with us. It was so cute!

  • it's SO cute. the video really made me laugh! adorable.

  • what do you mean? shibas are the easiest to train.... They are just difficult if you are not smart, they will tear you down to pieces. But if you put up with them, they'll follow you everywhere.

  • Clearly, you did not read the description carefully. I was talking about the stereotype that exists about both of the breeds depicted. My shiba has been a pleasure to train and live with, and she's an exceptionally fast learner. Are you unaware that a stigma exists about the breed? I hear it every time I go to an agility trial.

  • i do know of this stereotype. i guess i was addressing to this stereotype just like you.

  • Okay; just making sure we're on the same page! :)

  • Gorgeous pit! =D

And of course, Shelby is adorable as well xD

I've got two pitbulls of my own and they're the best dogs I could have ever asked for <3

  • Thank you--Holly is such a sweet girl; I'm so lucky to have her!

  • The pink collar lol

  • Haha! She also has several colored bandanas and a purple harness too! These are two pretty spoiled critters! ;)

  • I have a Shiba who I love to death. His name is Yoshi. I've had him since I was six. =] Best dogs ever.

  • Brutal pet abuse

  • OMG! *covers eyes in fear* How could you put something like that on here??? XO

    heehee JK! THEY'RE SO CUTE! :D I LOVE Shiba Inus! I have 3 dachshunds.... no where close to a Shiba Inu. :}

  • Cute.

  • haha

really viscious dogs you got there

    LOL

    there so cute xx

  • I LOVE PITBULLS!

    There just gorgeous!

  • They look like they are having a great time, and both are so cute.

It's so great to have friends with dogs that get along with your own. Catie and I walk all four of our dogs together and people always think we are on some doggy parade. I'm afraid we'll cause a car crash one day, j/k.

  • OMGGG I lovee PBsss! They are my fav!! lol! they are so cutee! great video btw!

  • ahaa. my old lab and beagle used to do that.

the lab was like 8 and was a cross with shepard and chow and the beagle was a big mess cross, and they would always play fight and it always looked so real until you saw the tails wagging a mile a minute xD

  • man they were throwing killer moves at eachother-- WHOA! Did you see that? Her/his paw totally landed on his/her back! That was INSANE! INSTANT REPLAY!

XD This made me laugh ;)

  • Your dogs are beautiful! But I got to say... Those two are sweeties! When our dogs "play-fight" it actually looks like they are fighting, lol. It makes my mom paranoid, even though they are playing :D

Your girls look too sweet to be vicious :)

This video made me smile ALOT!! 5 stars.

  • those puppies are soo cuteee =]

  • Aww this is way too cute! :D

  • Oh my god! They're going to kill each other! Get them out of there!!XD

  • haha aww they are soo cute!! :DD

  • Aww! Too cute! I'm so glad you made this video. Thanks again for having all of us over on Friday! :) We all had such a fun time. :)

  • Thanks for coming over! We'll have to arrange more puppy play dates. :)

  • So much violence. How did they ever survive each other. Bet you were up all night cleaning the blood stains. I cant believe they were planning on putting down such a lovely girl. Just look at her whats wrong with people these days right its great to see she got moved just in time though.

  • Yeah, seriously! I'm so glad that Jen adopted her. She is the sweetest dog.

  • cute! Isn't Holly Jen's dog??

  • Yep, over for a visit to my house with her Mom! :)

  • how cute :D after reading the description i'm so glad jen adopted her! she seems like such an angel - not the stereotypical putt bull :D

  • So cute

  • they're cute and having fun

  • awe, your dogs are so cute
