As to your comment, I and many others within my age range were of the mind set that simply because a teacher stood before a classroom of kids. That did not give them the right to speak or behave in a manner that suited their mood at a given moment. I dealt with asshole teachers many times in my formitive years; and 90 times out of 100 if I or a peer felt disrespected. That disrespect was forced back on the teacher 10 fold.
