WOW!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sad to see this building with verizon written on it . I thought it would always be the paradise garage. So so sad :( , you had to have been there to know my feelings.
@spicetbedhead ur a baffon. You will never experience what dancing at The Garage was like. It was peace love n harmony at it's best. Gender and color didn't matter there. The music and vibe can never be duplicated!
House Music is & always be the best!!! Long Live HOUSE!!! Soulful House, Deep House, Tribal & Latin House... To the response to the ignorance of others, then why is it that artists of different types of music for some reason transform their craft to the elements of Dance Music (HOUSE MUSIC)? I'll tell you why, it's because they want to reach a larger audience world wide!!! HOUSE RULEZ!!!!!!!! Paradise Garage was an AWESOME to party, no one had to worry about fights, people came too party!

LMAO seriously.... you people who are all about the House Music Movement are preaching to a venue that is LONG GONE since 1987... MOVE THE FUCK ON ALREADY!!! House music has done been there and done that!!!! The music in it self has moved on to bigger and better places!!! You guys are really making House Music now look hella bad!!! GET OVER IT!!!! Its GONE ok???
It was heaven on Earth. A sanctuary where u went to get ur ears masterbated 。lol The sound was as perfect as perfect gets. I've been everywhere. The other place Richard Long built the sound to was Zanzibar's. Went there twice. Great sound but very commercial .everytime I pass by tears roll down face. It's like having someone with Alzeimers. They'll never remember what they were and such is this place. Now cold and empty.
Ah yes, the entrance ramp. I hauled many a sheet of plywood up that ramp. Not quite the same without the airport lights chasing up and down the length of it.
no.no one but personel and law enforcement can enter without reason. They used to have a security guard at the door, but i have not walk past there in like 6 or 7 years now.An old rumor of what was going to happen to the building was that some realitors where going to buy it and transform it into lofts and/or condos.Thats exactly what happened to 6 hubert st.
wow! the ramp looks so ugly, now!
