When I saw all the hatin' going on down here, I thought this was going to be horrible or something. I'm a fan of Candyrat's more technical artists, but this guy is just proof of less being more in some cases. If the guitar work was any more technical, it wouldn't fit the song. The guitar work here perfectly compliments the vocals, which are fucking amazing, imho. As I said, I love technical playing, but sometimes just some simple chords and some great vocal lines work just as well.

@bigdawgandrewm GOOD music is subjective. Purely dependent on the person. So your second statement is also incorrect. For being so grown up musically you sure are missing some basic factors. I.e. Music is music and everybody is different. Meaning no matter what it is, someone out there likes it. Therefore qualifying it as "GOOD" music.

Mark Minelli put out an unbelievable 2011cd Cover me in moss!! I have no problems listening to over and over.. Every song is so groovin! High five to Candyrat for having some of the best music out there! I know I don't have to look very far when I browse their archive! Thumbs up

@bigdawgandrewm Everyone can't love every bit of music that Rpoland puts up because of a little thing called personal taste. I love heaps of the Candy Rat records stuff and have purchased lots of music from them but I don't like every thing that they put up on youtube. Differentiating between the music I like and don't like is a far more grown up ideology than blindly following a record company and professing to love everything that they release regardless of the composition... food for thought.

People have different tastes and the different artists of candyrat sound different.

It's only logical that different people have different opinions about them.

Growing up means being able to deal with criticism and differences of opinion.

Not enforcing uniformity and silencing different opinions.

No one HAS to like anything.

That said, I think this guy's singing is incredible, but his guitaring isn't special at all

But so far this music is just not my taste. Respect to the artists, but i don't have to like or listen to it purely because it's on the same label.

@DAMND3Xx Probably because Mark's latest album has been getting a lot of downvotes, just because most CandyRat viewers are looking for fancy fretwork and he's adopted a more stripped-down style. It's unfortunate, but it looks bad on him if he gets a bunch of downvotes just for that.
