  • this is really good. they didnt turn out to be exactly like this because I used milky water instead of baking soda. i couldn't be asked to give my pretzels this 'sheen' or whatever. still they turned out pretty good and they can pretty easily stop you being hungry. I recommend this to fat people.

  • You need a better video camera.

  • and you guys the yeast wont work unless its 105 to 115 degrees F!

  • you are so beautiful at 9:46

  • you look like a pormstar

  • can u use splenda?

  • Made these yesterday, and their great! My kids really enjoyed them, and the best thing is that they were so easy to make. Thanks

  • Is it possible to make these without the parchment paper? I want to make them so bad, but don't have any parchment paper. Would it be alright to just grease a cookie sheet?

  • @Dyingbreed1990 duhh! parchment paper is just to keep the pan clean

  • @Dyingbreed1990 yeah anything r that wont stick

  • @HomeCookedDarlin its the same difference. were you confused. i wasn't.

  • @HomeCookedDarlin hey thanks i always wanted to know how to cook soft pretzels and also your beautiful

  • @WarriorBonning 1/4 is a quarter

  • @WarriorBonning

  • @WarriorBonning 1 and 1/4 is correct.

  • im sure it tastes good, but it looks NOTHING like the real pretzels in Germany, and I go there regularly. you need to use malt extract in the dough, dip in lye, and never glaze with butter. Also the shape is wrong. Just google it and find how a real pretzel looks.

  • She is hot and single - no ring

  • I'm sorry I ment to say self insted of sells my google chrom's kind of acting up

  • Wow thank u so much :) now I can spoil my fiance with his fav pretzels :)

  • very good video! very professional!

  • I've made them several times using this video as a guide, delicious everytime!

  • omg I just made these!!! They are soo freakin awesome!! I made mine bigger though! So Awesome!! Love love love this recipe!!! Thank you evah so much!!!!

  • Great recipe only one on youtube and the outtakes were good! :)

  • this look yummy, hmm can you put the ingreditant in the description?

  • @ph0eix Sure!

  • Unfortunately, the amount of yeast is incorrect. This recipe works if you use half as much. Two teaspoons of yeast - at most - are all that's needed.

When I used the FOUR tspns of yeast (as instructed) the taste of yeast overwhelmed the pretzels.

I suggest using ONE tspn of yeast (always use the MINIMUM amount of yeast to get the job done) and allow the dough to rest in the fridge for a few hours. Then let it warm to room temp before continuing.

Thank you for the video 'Darlin!

  • very good recipe.I love soft pretzels and this one is the bomb.sexy lady making them just ads to the flavor.

  • I really can't wait to try these out. I've been craving a nice soft pretzel ever since we got back from our hols in oct. Don't even know if I can buy them over here in the UK but I bet they wouldn't taste the same if I did anyway. Hopefully get some of these babies made next week, I really can't wait. There's nothing that screams holiday in Seaworld to me like a lovely big pretzel and watching the Shamu show XDD

  • I just finish making these and they are delicious. I put some of the pretzels in sugar and cinnamon and they turned out to be very yummy : )

    Thank you for the video.

  • I liked your video, nice and easy. I cant wait to make them! Thanks! :D

  • does it have to be white sugar

  • if its rapidly active yeast can we use 2 teaspoons ??

  • if u want it to be cinnamon sugar do u have to add the salt?

  • it said 1 teaspoon of white sugar then 1/2 cup of white sugar?? Im confused please help :(

  • @Xheer32 the 1 teaspoon is for the yeast, to help it.

  • @gogirl929 thanks gogirl929

  • wooow! absolutely fantastic :)

    Thank you

  • Thanks for the video. If you want to make a smaller portion, say 1/4 of the recipe, do you divide the yeast/water solution by 1/4 or keep the yeast amount the same?

    Thanks.

  • Great job! Thanks for making this so easy.

  • Better than Auntie Anne's!! I have to try this out, Thanks for sharing.

  • awesome video...gonna try this...thanks for the detailed steps and lovely steps of the way. Aloha

  • These are sooo good and super soft. I made a batch of the dough, cut into 16 pieces and made 8 Cinnamon sugar pretzels and 8 Pretzel wrapped hot dogs. OMG Will definitely make again.

My only complain is that the dough is a bit doughy like chewy inside, at least on the hot dog wrapped ones The cinnamon sugar ones are in the oven ATM. But honestly, it doesn't effect the flavor at all =) They are wonderful =)

  • I have GOT to make these!

  • I have GOTR to make these!

  • they came out amazinggg!!

    less baking soda though

    so yummy!

  • Dear God! It was like heaven came down and put manna in my oven. I'm a guy that doesn't hardly ever cook, but your video was an awesome guide! Plus you're super cute so that makes it even better. Wow. This is my favorite food of all time now! I see why these pretzels are one of your favs. Thanks for your video.

  • @biglunch23 lol! I love this comment, you're so welcome xoxo

  • i JUST made these... and they turned out to be AWESOME! like they are amazing!! i just think less baking soda in the water would be better, other then that awesome, im sitting and eating one right now! all that i need now is that cheesy sauce and ill be set for next time!

    THANKS!

  • @Pioglio I'm so happy you liked them!

  • OMG thankyou soo much :) im from australia.. and in our malls or anywhere in australia, we dont get large soft pretzels.. and after cooking ur recipe.. ive finally had that experience :D Thankyou soo much .

  • Very well done gotta try this.
