william is 1 of those artists whose music i can purchase without thought. its a no brainer. his stuff is awesome! i too purchased madonna's ray of light years ago and went wow, who is that guy? before downloading was the thing i used to look at the producers credits on the back of the cds. if you like william, check out mirwais too. even if youre not a huge madge fan, you gotta hand it too the old gal. she knows who to work with.

i think william orbit is a musical genius. his hand is behind so much of what has driven music for over a decade. both musically and in film scores. he makes what seems at first simple music, but dive in and he will lead you to the garden of beauty.

you know what pains me....how my generation is satisfied with kei$ha, justin beiber and lady gaga.....maybe when they hit 30 years old and stop partying, they won't feel the need to have an adrenalin rush all the time....then, maybe they will realize that this type of music is out there. To be fair, additional praise to this masterpiece has to come to the vocals of Karen Poole present in the billy buttons mix. Her angel voice reminds me of Maggie Reilly ( with Mike Oldfield) .

Ambient beauty from William. I have just about everything he has put out under the Strange Cargo banner, as well as under his own name. It's no coincidence that Madonna's "Ray of Light" is her best album by a long shot; it is head and shoulders above her usual dance stuff. The producer? William Orbit. I'll be adding this album to my collection, along with Depeche Mode's "Songs of the Universe", which will be released on Apr. 20.

Very beautiful as expected from William! The only thing I'm missing on the later albums is the exotic taste that the three Strange Cargos had! Oh well I guess these will be forever unreachable.

Uhm I'd really enjoy a "Guerrila Beach mix" of this onw. Aah & that's why I definitely like versions, remixes, altern takes, instrumentals, a capellas, unpluggs, variations, etc... RELEASED.

uhmm WO has new CD & CDs'... but I dont feel like an insatiable fan. Its more like musicians and labels may think too many mixes may cloud us... when it's just the opposite; new angles help this multi-complexed music to really shine thru...
