  • lol i wonder how many of his marine buddies bought him a beer when all this was done.

  • man hw the fck tht old bustard gon call another human a piece of crap, wht the fck is he then

  • @carismatic10111 He's a lot more of a man than you'll ever be. What he calls another person is his business. If you ever have the intestinal fortitude to risk everything, including your life, then you'll understand. Until then, sit back, shut your cum dumpster and watch what real men do when old men can't settle their differences.

  • Why would you watch this documentary if you don't like war? Think people, THINK.

  • Comment removed

  • Cobra's the man, like what ive said, spotters are for pussy.

  • @dylandark05 Once again, Nope.avi

  • So wait. If you zero your rifle for 600 yds point of impact than you can actually aim straight forward? Or did I understand it wrong?

  • 'This lump of crap fell' the best bit

  • i hate it when i see people die because of war. I hate it more when i see people feel happy after a kill. I hate war, for it makes beasts and nightmares. I hate war, it sucks.

  • If only Th White Death was stil alive to be on this show :/

  • I heard that the spotter was the more experienced of the team is it true?

  • Hey No Turkey Peeking!!!

  • Its never nice to kill other men or women. But if they more bad then you, you have to. I respect all what is living but people full of hate will kill the good people always. Thats why i love a good sniper, they save, strange enough, a lot of lifes. Cheers Guy's!

  • 0:46 in ya face bitch

  • What disturbs me that every one is an insurgent, hmm when a foreign power invades another sovereign country usually that fighter is a partisan. Thats what the insurgents during the american revolution were called. Same during WW2. Oh well I guess when Iraqi's are watching the beheading of american soldiers or contractors (which are not covered by Geneva conventions) they are marveling at the handy knife work.

  • @Happypillz It's a complex issue, really--the U.S. invasion of Iraq may have been under pretenses that ultimately proved to be false, but at the same time we were overthrowing a dictator and we eventually left. Perhaps we could have handled it a little better (funding revolutionary groups, etc.), but ultimately that proves problematic as well because many of the revolutionary groups weren't in favor of secular democracy, but instead wanted an Islamic theocracy. Under these

  • @wcropp1 (cont.) circumstances it is hard to see the conflict in black and white terms. I'm not sure how I'd feel if I were an Iraqi, as I'm not a big fan of U.S. occupation, Saddam Hussein, or Islamic fundamentalism. Ultimately, though, at least you could count on the U.S. eventually leaving, and "U.S. approved" democracy is better than no democracy.

  • he can DANG use that bolt

  • Canadians are the best snipers not americans lol

  • @TexasGuyGsxr34 I agree, the same people that are being defended by these commenters are the same people that have been cutting off the heads of american/commonwealth/nato forces slowly with dull knives. The same people that would take you prisoner upon learning your'e a foreigner and ransom you, probably raping you while being held prisoner. They do this to news reporters all of the time. Why people try to defend their innocence I have no idea.

  • @JesusofCalgary As well as, those guys that are being shot dead are not your friendly average Iraq citizen, they are walking in the streets with weapons and ski-masks, it's not like they're being slaughtered just for the fun of slaughtering them, At the point russians invade US, I promise I will not be walking around with an assault rifle wearing a ski-mask.

  • @TexasGuyGsxr34 It's all staged asshole courtesy of US intelligence. Wake the fuck up before it's too late! What happened to Patrick Tillman, huh? He was assassinated by his own people because he was speaking out about the fraud of the war he volunteered to fight. We will fight you in the streets when you come for us!

  • Kill baby propaganda. These fuckers are training to kill American citizens. Don't you kid yourselves!

  • I really enjoyed the document till the soldier called a dead man as "a lump of crap", how pathetic it is.........

  • If any of you were there, you wished you had them guys on your side. Critics are those, who never been involved in combat! I wish military service were mandatory, then you would think different.

  • This is War so dont call this people pathetic if the Iraq guys would have the chance to kill them they would do that , americans to so stop it at war theres a rule: Kill him first or You get killed and thats what happening there and sure a sniper cant show emotions at this moments but by thinking if the guys with the AK47 would be instead of him , he would be dead in 1 sec cuz its War , and ppl try to get a chance killing the enemy...

  • Can`t believe how that pathetic soldier just called a human being ``a lump of crap that fell to the ground``. No respect for human life whatsoever! Pathetic!!!

  • @canadianlawncare Fuck you... You do not understand what they go through there. As a sniper you can't show any fear or you are dead. Its like you become a murder in those minutes-hours. So dont call him pathetic because the taliban torture people and kill them. Unlike us...i dont think so...

  • chay wa chay lai cho a ban ao vkl

  • anyone else finds that the fella acting Ethan Place looks like.. Fernando Torres?

  • it disturbs me when these guys take pleasure in taking others lives. All lives are precious when yours or theirs. There is no glory in killing anyone even your enemies. taking lives only means failure in humanity to peacefully settle our differences. If these trend doesnt stop humanity wont survive for very long before extinction.

  • @kuvceebxab1 I think so too man, but look at this way: if you say that it's a failure in humanity to peacefully settle our differences, you're also saying that humanity have been failing since the begining. We have never, never succeed in peace. That's the truth. We, humans beings, never were "humans" if wich other.

I wish all the conflicts and wars could end once for all. But I think it's something we can only dream about, because in milions of years of evolution it never happened.

  • @Foxley

Agreed on some points. But while the ultimate goal would be a conflict-free world, a good intermediate goal is to reduce the frequency, scope, and deadliness of conflicts, and at that we have certainly been successful. It can seem like a conflict-free world is "something we can only dream about," but human flight and civilization and the eradication of smallpox were once that as well.

  • @kuvceebxab1 I hope you understand that these guys are only doing their jobs. Protecting their troops. That's what the other side does too. They don't take pleasure in taking others lives at all. It was a clear case of 'hunt or get hunted', if you understand what I'm saying.

  • @kuvceebxab1 Have you ever gone hunting and sat there for hours on end without getting a hit, it is an awesome feeling when you finally hit and kill something, I imagine it isn't that different to snipers on humans, I don't think it is reasonable to say that you should not get a good feeling out of hitting a target thought impossible. You probably haven't been in such a situation so you should not be able to understand it, so you should not be able to judge it. (reasonably)

  • @kuvceebxab1 humanity is a plague, vermin that causes the sixth wave of extinction, and the only decent predator it has to stop from completely destroying all life on the planet is itself. Be glad we have wars, it might be the only thing to bring balance, preventing global extinction of all species.

  • @kuvceebxab1 When you're on the battlefield, you dont think about it. Its you or them.

  • @kuvceebxab1 War is the least threat to the extinction of humanity. Sure its bad, but we are a million times more likely to be wiped out by disease or lack of resources from overpopulation. As bad as it may sound, war might actually be extending the life of humanity as a whole.

  • @wosoitti what are you talking about? war is the biggest threat to our species and not only ours but every living creature on the planet! disease normally only attacks one to two species at a time. a nuke vaporizes every living creature in a blast radious. then you have radiation fallout followed by nuculear winter. the biggest threat to man is man. our evolved brain is what will end up killing us. from machines to over population from fighitn off disease and ravishing mother nature

  • @kuvceebxab1 i wouldnt give a fuck about some dickhead trynna kill me and my mates. if anything id also be glad to kill em

  • Well the insurgents certainly don't think that way, and as long as they are the U.S. Marines, you can bet your ass that we will continue to hunt these insurgents down like dogs!!!!

  • @kuvceebxab1 I think its part of training to teach contempt of the enemy. You don't want your soldiers to be feeling compassion for the enemy when its kill or be kill. I don't think its neccesary a disconnect in their morality rather just a product of the militaries strategic mental conditioning.

  • @kuvceebxab1 No one is going to stop fighting, especially when others will not cooperate or agree with world peace. People who attack others aren't going to be met with submission, it 's natural for one to want to defend thyself. That is why there is fighting. It will never stop, not until all the anger in this world is gone, and THAT is never going to happen.

  • @kuvceebxab1 it should be disturbing. however, doing your job well is something that has glory associated with the call of duty. war is evil, no matter what, but there are always two sides to the coin.

  • @kuvceebxab1 They don't necessarily take pleasure. They take pride in the fact that they are making sure that their fellow soldiers are living because what they are doing. There is glory and there is also honor. Why don't you go join the peace corps. and try to make a difference. Practice what you preach pal.

  • @kuvceebxab1 Unless you've been in combat, it would behoove you to reserve your judgement. Where do you come up with "pleasure"? there is no glory and no pleasure. Combat is the gutteral, you or them. Semper Fi.

  • @kuvceebxab1 This is very true, and it took me a while to understand it. I served in the army on combat engineering detachment, for 4 years. before I resigned, when you grow up you realize the value of life isn't just some numbers you dial into your scope. every man you kill is capable of loving someone, having children, and raising them. life is beautiful, life is a miracle, what we are doing is pure evil. like they say truth is the first casualty of war, No doubt!

  • @kuvceebxab1 All lives are not sacred, logically speaking, if everyone was sacred, already that would make no one sacred. Fuck these people. they were in an active warzone, do that, and your gonna die.

  • @kuvceebxab1 They take pleasure in it because there trained to take pleasure in it. You have to think about it from there perspective because I've experienced it first hand. If you know that the man in your cross hairs is trying to kill you, and they would do anything to do so...even kill them selves (Suicide bombers) you would feel joy after taking them out, any one would. Thats just human nature. Why do you think people enjoy playing violent video games so much, they feel the same.

  • Easystreets70 is a dick

  • @onster171819 And you are a brainless insurgent.

  • U.S Marine sniper, Deadly..

  • Trained soldiers best equipped fight untrained civilans with not accurate AK 47s.

  • @easystreets70 So, youre sugesting that the US amy should use not accurate AK 47's too? Or that they shoul give to their enemy the same equipment they have to balance the forces? That's war, not a paintball match. Its obvious that everyone wants all the advantage they can get.

  • @Foxley good comment

  • @SirAceMcFly "So, youre sugesting that the US amy should use not accurate AK 47's too?" No, unless you want to commit suicide. I am just saying that this kind of unequal fight does not serve the hero balloon to be pumped up to go up the sky. Neither Iraqies nor Afghans can be considerated as equaly equipped enemies. It is like shooting pigeons with your air rifle. If the so called insurgents would have had a brain to go over the flanks, they would have been way more dangerous.

  • @easystreets70

Man, who the hell said anything about heros here? It's just an documentary talking about awsome shooters that fought at wars.

And no, it's not like shooting pigeons with an air rifle, because pigeons don't fight back with AK-47's, bomb attacks and guerrilla tatics. That was not a good comparation.

There's not such a thing as "equal fight" when we are talking about war.

The side that wins is that that's better equiped, motivated, and uses superior tatics.

  • @Foxley Iraq was no real war except the first month. You are right, it is a teaching documentary about sniping and its difficulties. Call it war if you want to. I call it pigeon shooting. The last real enemy the US-Army had was the German Wehrmacht at its end.

  • @easystreets70

Tell that to the soldiers killed by the pigeons in Iraq and afghanistan. And let's not forget the pigeons that won the war in Vietnam. And we can't forget neither that the pigeons have their snipers too.

Now I will think twice before shoot a pigeon with my air rifle. I can end with an 7,62mm cal. bullet in my head when they start shooting back.

C'mon, man... why people (most of them have never been in the military) aways have to start pointless discutions on this kinds of videos?

  • @Foxley "C'mon, man..." I think you pretty much got my point, dude. If an army invades your country whereas your own army has been defeated already, this army shoots you and your friends because you show a resistance, who is the war maker? Who has attacked the US actually in 2001 or 2003?

  • @easystreets70 Man, I'm not discussing about who is right or wrong! Where did you get that idea from? I'm not even north american, I'm brazilian. And if you asked me, I don't agree with war in Iraq or Vietnam neither. But, and THAT's my point, so pay attention: What the hell it has to do with the snipers skills?

Does it, somehow make them better or worse shooters? Please, dude... go discuss about the motives or rightness of these wars some elsewhere. You've missed the whole point.

  • @Foxley "What the hell it has to do with the snipers skills?" Nothing. But, now you pay attention, we watch the skills apllied on so called insurgents or enemies. That makes the story more colorful and dangerous. Like hunting bears. So the insurgent gives the legitimate aim. I am only saying: To fight unskilled and minor equipped guys on some streets somewhere in the desert isn't heroic, it is murder. Excuse my empathy.

  • @easystreets70 And again I ask you: who said anything about heroism? I admire a lot of people for what they did on the battlefield. Hitler, Che, Alexander the Great, Luis Carlos Prestes, Virgulino Lampião Ferreira, for example, and I don't have to agree with any of the shit they did for that. If you can't separate this things, youre in the wrong place, man.

  • @Foxley I personally didn't agree with the war in Iraq but I completely agree with you on the fact that we need to be better equipped than the "enemy"... War isn't a game and it shouldn't be treated as such and only a moron would think so....

  • @easystreets70 oh yes mate cos the Ak-47 is the shittest rifle ever known isn't it? You do realise we are up against fanatics, that KNOW the terrain. There is only so much you can learn from a satellite map!

  • Geez thats a good Sniper. And Dude has to calculate like crazy.

  • This piece of crap fell, hahaha this is my sorta docummentary

  • Handcock's story is real, man!

  • ETHAN PLACE--BIRTHPLACE-MISSOURI---CARLOS HATHCOCK II BIRTHPLACE--ARKANSAS!!!!

  • I sometimes wonder about these documentaries...........You think they are a bit bias bHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAA...

    Either way...some good shooting

  • @AussieRedneck09 what exactly are they bias about?

  • @rtasi2000 Yeah I wanna know the same thing hes talking about,.. Bias... All this is real, it's war love it or not. It's war. Atleast you can appreciate the skill and courage this stuff takes :) But yeah bias, I don't think so
