@blackrose00190 Lambiel is great skater but his jumps is not good enough. Are you proud of his bad jumping? You know he asked Plushenko's coach to help him with jumps...
Plushenko is great artist, not only a jumper. He can make you cry and laugh. His programs are so different.

@blackrose00190 not really??...If Plushenko isn't really good as you said so you must be...sorry.. blind probably, he cannot be too fast here because this song is very calm and slow and he goes to the song. He did it very well...as usual :)

Well ok his step combinations was good in this show.. But did you see him his FS on this olympic?? His jumps were really imprecise and unsteadys and his spins and step combinations really weak..
Sorry for the cruel words, I think the american skater deserve the first place (well I'm not happy but I admit he was good and his skating was correct)
Anyway I'm not narrow-minded I accept that Lambiel wasn't soo good as he usually is. But I'm proud of him because he's not a jumper robot..
@blackrose00190 Yes but Lambiel is a spinning robot then no? Lol no I don't think anyone is a robot but Lambiel is a master of spins, and it's unfair to say one element is 'robotic' compared to something else. Plushy's FS was not very strong (it's not a very good LP to be honest) but his SP was very good. Not his best, but very well done none the less.

And one more thing. Spirit not mean speed. I can't see Plushenko's soul when he's on the ice. I think he just skating from his routine not from his heart (lots of his moves are so theatrical).. and figure skatin is an art not just a sport where you're a star if you can do the jumps... He's a good sport man but nothing more to me and I won't understand his skating...
Ok it's your opinion, but I will always remember Plushenko as a maestro of skating anyway. However I agree with you with some of your points, sometimes he is too professional and he tries to be the best too much, of course it's very good for the sport but might be only like showing some elements and nothing else. I've always watched and focused on the artistic moments, and when their program is only technically correct then it doesn't satisfy me.
Skating should gives people something else, good emotions...and Plushenko has always done it in my opinion, of course the other skaters too...but he is my fav. :)
and yeah Lysacek really deserved , he had no mistakes.
@blackrose00190 I disagree with you. If you've ever watched exs like Je Suis Malade, and The Swan you'd see that Plushy puts his heart into skating. Anybody who has seen him live, fans or not, have acknowledged this. Plushenko's strength is in his jumps but he exudes confidence and passion in all aspects of his skating which is why people feel connected to him during his performances.
Plushenko is the 1st figure skater that gives a more "cultural" dimmension to the sport by bringing together unique skating skills and famous musical performers. Makes everything so much more interesting and enjoyable to watch!
They're just too different. Plushenko is very graceful too, Johnny is just more - I hate to say "feminine" but it's the only way I can think to describe it. In a good way. Plushenko has some very masculine, dynamic movements (in general, not in this clip) with the ballet-like steps as well. But Plushenko is also a master who does not miss in competition, Weir is inconsistent and emotional and that gets him down all the time in the rankings.
Two sexy men, but they are totally different...

Great live performance from Seal. And Evgeni? Perfect as always.

Didn't there used to be one with Seal and Kiss from a Rose and Plushy skating to it as well?

Wow, I'm in LOVE with both the song and the routine!
Seal is amazing here, and Evgeni's foot work is just breathtaking. He always connects so beautifully with the music, and here there's no exception.
The finger-pointing before the foot-work sequence is also too cute. :)
losangelesgirl92 - The song's called 'Crazy' by the way. It's on Seal's 1991 album I believe.
