Bah! All in all, I just want to learn. If he's going to do photoshop tutorials, that's fine with me, because I'm pretty flexible with his choice. I look up both Gimp and Photoshop tutorials, and when I watch the Photoshop tutorials, it's pretty easy to follow along with the tutorials while going through the exact same steps through Gimp. Things in the tab menus may be worded differently in Gimp, but Gimp tries to keep it pretty close. Also, Gimp loads faster for me than Photoshop. =) :D

When I was young I sold out too. Found out too late that you need to dance with the girl who brought you to the party. For a while you were the best thing out there. We can get PS videos anywhere. Sad to say that when your voice changed your character changed too. Have a great life & super career with PS. But you can have it without those like me who became loyal to GIMP because of you. Dropped my sub because I don't use, nor will I ever use Photo Shop. Some of us can't dance with the stars.

@ChangedTheChannel i call that one a FOUL! i'm a graphic designer and get paid well i use GIMP for it, i see nothing wrong with GIMP at all, I tried PS which is shit in the long run by far lot harder, i find GIMP be alot more easy and streight to the point.

I'm sure you will make amazing Photoshop tuts as well. You should make a side channel (as Photoshop channel) and as that one becomes popular, and most likely a Youtube partner you will then have links for both channels, doubling the views, subs, info, etc. Thats what I do with my mental health and fitness videos, but this is just my daily tech user profile x)

@TheParaDoxFilmz See those funky characters on your keyboard that look kinda useless for spelling words? Those are actually used for something called, punctuation. You stick em at pauses and ends of sentences, and if it's a question, you use the one key to the left-shift button, the one with the slash on it, while holding shift. I guess now would be a good time to explain the shift button and capitalization, but I'm running to the end of the character limit for a YouTube comment. Use Google.
It saddens me to have to subscribe, but I don't have Photoshop, and although it is better (mainly in support) I can't afford it, and this channel is now useless to me.

I love both PS and GIMP, I've found a lot of PS tutorials. When I search GIMP tutorials, most of them are under your channel. You've made a lot of GIMP users happy; now you make them sad. Why you have to be a jerk and make people sad? If you want to keep your name clean make a new channel. Dont disgrace GIMP by making PS videos on the same channel. @GimpKnowHow This video probably lost you alot of subscribers. The reason they where subscribed is because you where doing GIMP tutorials NOT photoshop. And it is the gimp subscribers that got you the partnership and there are to many photoshop tutorials out there already and very few gimp.....

Why are all gifted designers deprived of any common sense? My friend, you seem to miss the point - people like me only came to your channel because it was GIMP oriented. No offence but if I wanted to see photoshop tutorials I would have subscribed to one of the channels of the gajillion PS designers in youtube who have 10 years of experience on you. Personally I would appreciate a channel that shows tutorials in pairs - same manipulation in PS and GIMP - I love tutorial porting.

It saddens me to have to subscribe, but I don't have Photoshop, and although it is better (mainly in support) I can't afford it, and this channel is now useless to me.

Read his description... He doesn't use gimp anymore, and forgot a lot of how to use it... He's only posting here because he already has tons of viewers and it would be hard for him to get back up to a partner again..... Sadly, that needed to be explained in the comments....

You could make a second channel and have them linked and alternate the gimp and ps tutorials weekly pleasing both crowds. and thanks to you ive gotten better at gimp and id love to keep getting better. I love both PS and GIMP, I've found a lot of PS tutorials. When I search GIMP tutorials, most of them are under your channel. You've made a lot of GIMP users happy; now you make them sad. Why you have to be a jerk and make people sad? If you want to keep your name clean make a new channel. Dont disgrace GIMP by making PS videos on the same channel. Dont go with the crowd of PS lunatics. Worst thing is, no more little dog face during your intros. If you can't remember GIMP, watch your own videos.

@GimpKnowHow This video probably lost you alot of subscribers. The reason they where subscribed is because you where doing GIMP tutorials NOT photoshop. And it is the gimp subscribers that got you the partnership and there are to many photoshop tutorials out there already and very few gimp.....

I sincerely hope he will start making videos on GIMP again, if he ever decides to try to get used to it again.

Why are all gifted designers deprived of any common sense? My friend, you seem to miss the point - people like me only came to your channel because it was GIMP oriented. No offence but if I wanted to see photoshop tutorials I would have subscribed to one of the channels of the gajillion PS designers in youtube who have 10 years of experience on you. Personally I would appreciate a channel that shows tutorials in pairs - same manipulation in PS and GIMP - I love tutorial porting.

Thanks for letting us know. I'll be unsubscribing. I know you can do photoshop things in Gimp.. I've used both programs extensively. However.. there are a ton of photoshop tutorials available already and I know you will venture into areas that Gimp users will not be able to follow completely.
