Great early stuff from Doug. I met him in Stockholm in late '80s at a place where they had rock/CW bands playing, a quite smal place it was. I worked as a bouncer. I can't remember the name of the band but they had Stu Cook (ex Creedence Clearwater drummer). After the gig, and place was closing down I went backstage and have some pleasant chat with the guys. Haven't been into Doug for many years so I didn't know he passed away. RIP

amazing. I'm 61 from massachusetts and never heard this early stuff. I barely remember (anything) the Sir Douglas Quintet.
