  • This is good. I love the old airchecks! I have 1961 KYA radio airchecks with news and all. My favorite news is J. Armstrong doing the 3am news at WAYS Oct 1965. I have that posted. I also posted two WMEX radio spots.

  • It looks like the lead news story about Russian Yuri Gagarin's space flight featured some doubts as to how many times he circled the earth.

    He didn't orbit three times; he just made one orbit and landed upon the end of that first orbit.
