@clearMiles, There is always 'The Defeat of Jesse James Days' Sep 7-11. There is probably too much drinking going on in the late evens at that event, but the few times I've been there, it has always been fun and the food stands are a blast
. Maybe Reina could line up a gig down at Northfield
Perhaps I'm just an old curmudgeon but the talkers in there are missing good music. It takes intestinal fortitude to perform with all that foreground noise and I think Reina's Band did a great job. Thank you Greg….boy you didn't mess around posting this gig!
@rd2ed, the slowest part is the upload to Youtube. My camera records in, I believe Apple's Quicktime format and to make the video files manageable for upload to YouTube I have to convert Quicktime to Mpeg-2 or some other compressed video file format. It takes a lot of computer processing power to convert to different video file formats. My old computer would have been chugging away for hours. The raw video in uncompressed Quicktime for the entire performance is typically over 5 GIGs
Someone suggested Reina try a live feed for her performances. I'm sure the video and audio will be degraded for a live feed, but there is always the excitement of feeling like you are there while the performance happens. Unless I win the lottery, having a cell phone with apps that can do live video feeds is something in the far off future for myself. I bought my current computer on credit. I should hide it before the credit card company tries to reclaim it.
Cool! I wanted to go to this show, but I couldn't get a ride from Carleton College. Maybe another time.

@rd2ed, at least they gave the band a very loud and rowdy applause at the end of each song
. That was very cool!
