  • What year did he do this?

  • Comment removed

  • Damn good stuff.......

You see, he was not teaching anything new even back then.

Those same principles was talked about in the Science Of Getting Rich by Wallace Wattles. Its a must have in any success library.

Maybe James Brown was being Metaphysical when he sang "I Got The Feeling"

...lol.... Just a thought. But anyway...

I love these teachings. Raise your vibration!

    =)

  • Cool Damn Suit!!! LOL!!!

  • I know what he is saying is true. We can have all the faith of mustard seeds and some, however if we don't really convince our mind, then that faith will just lie dormant. Mary chose to believe Gabriel and went forward, while Zacharia chose to doubt Gabriel and was mute until John was born. Keep posting these videos, God Bless Rev Ike

  • Thank God for Rev Ike... I love his affirmations... and they way he breaks things down..

  • Rev. Ike was a Bible scholar and he knew that there are many, many different interpretations (and translations) of the Bible. And billions of people (Muslims, Jews, Buddists, Hindus, etc. with different 'bibles') Some authority figure (your parents or your pastor) taught you that their interpretation is right and everyone else's is wrong, and you accept that without question. If that brings you peace and happiness, that's great, but "Judge not, that you be not judged", said Jesus.

  • You are so right, like Oral Roberts, Rev.Ike will surely lift his eyes in the Hell fires, for the apostate gospel that he mastered & unfortunately led so many astray. If u want a new car,,,,get a job & buy one! if u want higher education, go to college...it is so sad that this many folks in this day & age fell for this crap!

  • @jollysincere Are you tired of living without? Just know you can change your mind anytime you are ready.

  • @jollysincere Well said. I sincerely hope he repented before passing on to eternity. He like Father Divine led so many people astray with errant theological teaching. Send money in for your very own Prayer rug??? SAD

  • @CoffySarai I doubt it, Ike was so caught up in material things, He probaly just thought he could continue with his Con Game. What is even sadder, is that today, there are even more of the charlatans playing to even bigger audiences filled with DAMN FOOLS. Eddie Long, Creflo Dollar,Joel Osteen, TD Jakes, Juanita Bynum, i mean the list is endless. U would think, that in this "Enligthened Age" we would have more Enligthened People not lining up for a dose of this crap.

  • what if your wrong?

  • The people we think are going to Hell....won't, but the people we think are going to Heaven....won't either. That is Biblical.

Reverend Ike had to be true to the calling on his life from God, and he did a fabulous job.

God will send the people....the minister just has to deliver as he has been told to do. Also he has preached salvation as well....I have heard him.

  • @oldspam u r not God who r u too condem someone to hell,maybe u should listen to more of Rev.Ike.

  • @steraeris I have no problem when So called preachers leave the True, saving, life changing Biblical Gospel and teach Greed to sound the alarm . Fat Shepherds that devoir there congregation for gain and leave there souls unsaved. The Word of God convicts them.

  • @oldspam stop that nonsense and listen but sheep dont speak lion so you wouldn't understand

  • This is amazing. That is why you have to listen to people for yourself. This has to be over 30 years ago. How many people talk like this today. I have been on this journey since feb 13 , 2006 and it is truly amazing.

  • I guess Rev Ike didn't have the "healthy mind" becasue he died after having a stroke 2 years ago in which he never really recovered. If it (his treaching) did not work for him y would anyone else want it?

  • We can never judge another person's mind, but if I were to make an opinion, I would say Rev Ike wanted so much for people to live a good life and love God, that he held this to tightly, and this gave him a stroke. But, his life's work and demonstrations of God's love for people can never be denied.

  • I agree u cannot judge a peron'smind n I hope that u were not inferring that i was judging his mind. I am not sure what u base your opinon on. Be that as it may, the proof is in the pudding. He was sick w/a stroke n died. That is contrary to his teachings

  • When you fully understand Rev Ike's teaching, you realize that he did not teach that we are always physically perfect in the way in which the world sees perfection, but perfect in the Spirit. Helen Keller was blind, but her achievements were beyond anything anyone thought possible for someone in her condition. I believe that Rev Ike's soul was merely transitioning from one life to another. And the soul isn't concerned with how that transition is made when it is our time to do it.

  • I can only assme that u didn't listen to his sermon or just WILL NOT see the truth. Ike was very emphatic he talked about PHYSICAL HEATLH in this context, not the soul. "There is no so blind as those who WILL NOT see." (Think about it)

  • Because we are flesh, we succumb to the weaknesses of the flesh. Judge a man not only by the length of his life but also the quality of his life. Whether or not his teachings "work" will be up to the hearer of his words. Do the teachings of Jesus "work"? Does the teachings of the Buddah "work"? The teachings of Socrates? of Moses Maimonedes? In the end, only YOU can judge how well the teachings "work". Even then, the responsibilty falls upon the individual.

  • WHAT?! All you gave me was a bunch of "philisophical mumbo-jumbo" The end result is that his teaching on health DIDNOT work for him.

  • It's only "mumbo-jumbo" to someone who cannot adeqately answer coherently.

Why don't YOU answer the questions I put forth or are you a dull knife in an intellectual gunfight?

  • U just showed your "hand" by your cheap "adhom attack". I will not indulge u in "playing the dozens." First off, my "friend" you asked rhetorical questions.U didnot ask me a q, u just made a statement. TWO: your response to me did not answer my statement, therefore mumbo-jumbo.

Three, I responded to your nonsensical statement w/the attention that it deserved.

  • you still haven't answered any of my questions. Do the teachings of Jesus "work"?. You whine on and project and complain but don't offer any intellectual defense or counter argument except that I'm not "playing nice". You called it "mumbo-jumbo" ;defend your reasoning. You chose to ignore my first posting, why? Is it hard to answer it or do you just like the sound of your own voice?

    Illuminate us with your brilliance.

  • LOL you crack me up. I am going to ignore your cheap sarcasm and not respond in kind. Yes, I believe the teachings of Jesus work. I am not sure about Buddah, Socrates or Andy Griffith for that matter. Now that I responded to your inquiry what does that have to do w/Rev Ike?

  • Your intellectual dishonesty is very apparent, the question was "Do the teachings of Jesus "work"?" Stop avoiding the question; stop projecting motives, Either you can defend your position or you can't. Now I've called you out-not with "cheap sarcasm" but a straight accusation that you have nothing to offer except snarky comments and empty rhetoric. The forum is waiting for your contribution to world.

  • It's mumbo-jumbo when you BELIEVE that it's mumbo jumbo.

Jesus tells us what this man is saying all over the Bible. If you say to that mountain move from here to there and BELIEVE it in your heart it will be done. I know it's hard to believe that's just it. This non belief is a result of the fall of man.

  • Hi Paldelis09 ty for your response. If u r to understand the bible u must consider the text, the context, the language etc.. God can do anything that is doable, including moving a mountain. However Jesus in Mark 11 was not saying to literally move the mountain. If he meant it literally how come no one, even Jesus Himself, ever move a mountain? Jesus here was using hyperbole.

  • Well sqairbiz, that is a very logical explenation. Read Mark 11:12-14 and 11:20-24 and then let us know if this is an appropriate time to use a hyperbole. He is telling you YOU HAVE AUTHORITY ON EARTH. He did not say somethings you pray for will happen. He said ANYTHING you pray for and and do not DOUBT but BELIEVE will happen. I know, I know, the first thought in your mind when reading this is DOUBT. It's not just you it's all of us. Result of the fall of man.

  • Well Pandelis09 What if one prayed, believed and not doubt that one grows wings? I am sure u would agree one would not grow wings. So then you must conclude that ANYTHING does not mean EVERYTHING. Then the obvious q would be what does ANYTHING (ref. Mark 11) mean? I am asking u to answer that for me. Thank you.

  • Matthew 18:19

19"Again, I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about ANYTHING you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven.

Did he say somethings? NO! ANYTHING!

    What did Jesus say? ANYTHING!

    But, but, ANYTHING!

    ANYTHING=EVERYTHING

I've got a question, do you believe anything else that Jesus says besides thet fact tht we were in sin? Or is everthing else a figure of speech or an exaggeration .

It dosent work for you because YOU DON"T BELIEVE!

  • I believe eveything Jesus said as HE INTENDED it to be understood. Jesus also said, "I am the door." another time He claim to the vine. Does that mean that He has a door knob or leaves? (Don't answer that , that was rhetorical), but it makes my point.

  • Good luck with that sqairbiz.

  • Don't worry sqairbiz, it's not just you. Most so called Christians don't want to walk in this area. This is the area of WALKING IN FAITH. This is what separated Moses, Joshua, & Caleb from the other 2 million. The others offered up sayings with their mouths but in their heart they didn't believe. I understand why what this man is saying is heresy to you. Keep talking about what we can't do.

  • My "friend" Pandelis obviously we r not going to agree. I am just going to ask u one q. Can u give me honestly ONE incident where u used your faith n got ANY n EVERYTHING u asked God for? After u anaswer then read 1John 5:14,15 PS I still would like u to answer how come no one in the bible has moved a mountain?

  • Thank you so much for posting Rev Ike's teachings. He has helped me and millions of others. This is not the end for Rev Ike, but the beginning. I look forward to his return.

  • Rev. Ike was a very holy man he beleived himself into the life he had we can only do what he did. All I can say is to Get full of the filling. I refuse to give up my millionaire mind and accept poverty. I am blessed blessed blessed. Thank God for Rev Ike. Thank You Father. I am full of the feeling

  • Very uplifting! What a great teacher he was.

  • If you can improve your health with your thoughts or feelings than why didn't this guy ever fully recover from the stroke he suffered from in 2007?!??!!! Why did he just recently die?? This doctrine is staright from hell

You guys who believe this stuff have itching ears and have strayed from the truth. Your money is your God. REPENT and accept Christ as your Lord and Savior or else....its just flames (reveleation 21:8)

  • Rev Ike was amazing. He was pioneer in terms of sharing principles of "The Secret". Also the first black minister that I know of to have a mega church.

  • Amen so True.

    Master Prophet

  • LYNNRCOX, Mason Temple Headquarters COGIC (1945) was the first black "mega-church".

  • primetime2180~ you are right i knew him when his first church was down here in my hometime because he strayed away from teaching holiness to teaching prosperity!!!! but i cant say he went to hell! we dnt know that....

  • So because he taught prosperity you assume that he may have gone to hell?

  • may swift wings carry you to your final resting place my friend / my leader.

  • HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. !! 6/1/09

  • this is awesome!

  • The GREAT Rev. IKE at HIS BEST!!!
