Guy keeps saying "feed a family" at "Mike's Chili Parlor," but you can't, unless it's to-go. My family was visiting from Florida, and we made a stop to this "restaurant," as Guy called it. They refused to serve us at "Mike's Chili Parlor" because it's really a bar that serves just OK chili. Don't call it a "chili parlor" or a "restaurant" because it's not. They made my child stand in the rain just to get a to-go order. Save yourself a trip and get chili somewhere else.

we grew up on queen anne in the 60s and often rode our bikes over to ballard but have only ate at mikes once, am so glad to see old places like that are still here and way better than those fast food toilets!!! which really doesnt even compare, anyway love the comment the guy was saying the only he came thier was for the abuse and not the food LMAO ....gotta love places like that have character, keep up the good work guyz

We ate here for the first time on our 2 week road trip just after seeing a Seattle Mariner's game. When we walked in we were a bit scared (this does fit the "dive" section of the name) but the chili was off the hook!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The owner was sooo cool and the regulars there were so much fun!

it sure as hell isn't real chili...but it covers fries burgers and dogs well...you wouldn't eat a bowl of the free chili at 7-11 but it's not bad on nachos...

they really make the place seem a lot bigger than it really is...and i've never seen it as well lit as it is in this video

My husband, son, daughter, and I went to Mike's last weekend after learning Guy Fieri had been there. Personally, I thought the food was awful. The chili had no flavor, the hot dog had no flavor, the bag of chips was stale. The only good things were the cheese, onions, and jalepeno peppers - and the beer. Now that we've been there, done that, we never need to go again. I honestly don't know how Guy could praise this food.

When I was in high school my friends and I would drive by Mike's and swear we'd go in as soon as we could drink. That's how cool it looked. I'm not sure if I can eat the chili there anymore I've had so much of it now... Still a decent place for a brewski, though.

It looks just like Cincinnati style chili. Thats were I grew up. Skyline chili is the best(in my opinion). They sell it in supermarkets in cans now. See if you can find it. Its awsome.
