HI, I hope there will be someone here to help me, but does anyone knows how to do the screen/scene effect at 0:29? The part where the player gets damage and it turns red and will revert back to normal when its not getting it? Any help or direction given would be greatly appreciate. Thanks in advance. =]
FYI, I got this from the epic forum, and i don't really understand what it means.
By the looks of this, you don't need any coding for Custom Classes. Just have a UI Scene and Kismet. Player Spawned -> Open UI -> On Selection, Give Weapon/Ammo. I maybe mistaken though. Also, this system is pretty basic, but might be ok for some. :)

im trying to make this i can change my pawn utfamily info in-game so it changes its model but when i change the family file in-game and my pawn dies he respawn using the new family file BUT he appear with no model
also i only could figure out how to change the walk speed i couldent figure how to change the resistene and attack you got any tips for this?
Can you give some directions as to how to do this? Is there any existing code in UDK which I can adapt? What should I override? The code about the default weapons seems messy.
@cedricodigital thats not how it works, it removes anything that isn't used, if he uses shockrifle code the shockrifle code will remain when he packages it up :P, the packaging tool is smart
I agree, would be very nice to see which classes you extended or overided in the udk, would be fun to have a go at it, i searched udk forums and couldn't see much about weapon ironsight aiming ?
