  • howd you make that rebounder thingo?

  • this is great idea :D

  • dude, this is really a good way to practice yourself as a goalkeeper in litmited space and without any partner. in other hand, you can do it anytime, anywhere. i learned from you man. thanks for sharing vid.

  • Having been a professional goalkeeper for Manchester City with over 600 games behind me I think that this video is one of the best on the net !

Well done , it called dedication !

  • thanks bro

  • man i love the way we goalkeepers fly :D:D u good goalkeeper ;)

  • ghetto rebounder nice......

  • I'm a keeper. I feel the need to come and comment on peoples training videos of how amazing I am at playing goal keeper. I'm gunna play for Chelsea one day, because I'm an amazing keeper.

  • you call that a goal keeper training my grandma could think of better and she is dead

  • @10293801 think of better? sort out your education before you come dissing someone else retard. :P

  • your good keep it up

  • your good

  • i like how for a minuite it goes total pitch black awkardness

  • dude im sorry but i dont believe u got offered to play anywhere

youre technique is bad the first thing i was tot to do is to DIVE FORWARD, and it looks to me as ur diving backward and u dont have the fluid motion that most good keeps have

and also ure pushing off wrong ure like turning ur body and jumping to meet the ball ure sposed to keep sideways

I didnt know bolton, one of the worlds best teams, took goalies who have technique like shit

  • dude im sorry but i dont believe u got offered to play anywhere

youre technique is bad the first thing i was tot to do is to DIVE FORWARD, and it looks to me as ur diving backward and u dont have the fluid motion that most good keeps have

  • i do not believe you have a "contract" with Bolton Wanderers. Here is why: first your technique is terrible, you can't even do the basic stuff like diving diagonally forward to catch the ball, you are diving backwards, and secondly, if you are from outside the European Union, you cannot join the academy until you are 18, that is just Premier League regulations. So just stick to playing for your local club team and stop trying to talk yourself up

  • @jaredwatkin ya that is true

i dont think ure that good ure an average keeper who might play competitively until hes 16, and then quit

honestly im 13, i dont know how old u are, but i am better technique wise and i have a more fluid motion and im faster

  • @z77soccer I am actually 16 but I obviously ain't that bad or I wouldn't play for Brisbane Strikers in the QSL, so do go saying you have a better technique or fluid motion. I see no fluidity in your movement and quite frankly, you don't have a better technique. Get back to me when you learn a few more things

  • @jaredwatkin no i wasnt talking to u i was taliking mason7soccer

  • im goin 2 be honest here...u r kinda skinny for a gk no offense and your diving technique is weird and not good....but maybe its weird cuz the ball is going slow wen you bounce it off the wood?...and u really played against bolten???? wat team do you play for? i am 14 right now and i made the dc united u16 team last summer but i didnt have enough money its like 1500 and im going down to spain and south america to tryout for some teams.....but im not really one to judge cuz i havent seen u play.

  • Hi i play for the qld rep team for Futsal but your great what do u play dude and how old are u!!!!!!!!

  • Hi thats a great video! im in the qld rep futsal team as a goal keeper but what do u play because your great and how old r u!!!!!!!!

  • Wow, you are going to know where the ball is going to go. Its like throwing a ball to yourself hitting it off the wall like that. I would like to see u during a real game

  • did u make that hit back

  • how old are u?

  • thats good for people who want to train as goaler but can t train with a club

  • your abit small and skinny for a goal keeper and i play fot brighton and ive played for the reserves 3 timez and i played man u and their goal keepers are class

  • wow you are amazing i want to be just like you

  • @woodyboyTV Any one can be a goalkeeper who cares how small they are,,im eleven and the shortest in my class but my classmates still say im the best keeper...

  • @woodyboyTV never underestemate my freind ;)

  • @woodyboyTV shut up is he too skinny you faggot, i play for arsenal and im skinnier than him but bit taller

if you've got the skill it doesnt matter, you just have to make up for your size with your ability

  • yo bro can u tell me what helped u the most?

    in gk skills?

    anytips?

  • dude i think its really cool you got offered a contract a Bolton i'm 14 gonna be 15 in april im working hard on my goal keeping so i can play for Newcastle but worst thing is that i dont live in the UK

  • same mate i live australia

  • where abouts do you live then mate? and why are you so intresed in playing for Newcastle? Just work hard and just be fortunate if you get picked up by any professinal club

  • i live in Taiwan but i'm Nigerian.NUFC happens to be my fave club i'd do anything to get in the team

  • Well did you train with Man United then? :P or did you go to Bolton?

  • i played against bolton then the offerd it to me

  • i love the idea of the board

  • haha yeh this was when i was 12 im 15 now. i guess it helped me in terms of handling, but it doesnt do too much else. and everyone else here who is bagging me as a 12 year old, 2 months ago i was invited to the UK to trial at mancheter united and bolton, and was offerd a contract by bolton.

  • @mason7soccer Tell me whats the name of the Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper coach?

  • im a goalkepper i got rebounder best thing ever

  • omg, learn first how to catch the ball correct and how to make cradle.... FSS

  • ur shiiiiiiiiiiiittt

  • are u a professional to say that?

  • ahhaah exactly mate

  • lostprophets - make a move :)

  • wake up*

  • on the album its called make a move. i have it.

  • bien le gamin mai si tu veut faire des progres vien a mes entrainements et la tu verat !sportivement davzx7r

  • Good idea with the board, I'm going to make one myself in the summer =)

  • The first save you made wasn't placed well. Always, always, always, put it over the net, never back into play if you can avoid it. Especially with the ball going so close to the net, and you being down.

Also, try and get a more uneven surface. You're expecting where the balls are going to go, so you already know where you're going. If you don't, you get better reflexes.

Good idea with the board, I'm going to make one myself in the summer =)

  • i was 12, thats what i said when i did the video, now i am 14

  • Is it me, when i dive very high to get a ball, when i impact, it doesn't hurt me at all. Maybe because ive been used to it? Anybody know?

  • u usually have padding in your shirt but you ahve muscles whe your a goalie and they protect you as well its the same with me

  • oh i wear shirts without padding. I used to. I found it very uncomfotable. Especialy in hot climate.

  • ha its never hot here

  • Where do you live?

  • VERY HIGH huh ??

Well, lets see , it doesn't hurt because you land on GRASS .... !

try jumping higher then see what happens

  • Same with me. I sometimes wear padded jerseys, but it gets too hot in the summer to. The only time it does hurt is if I either land with the ball under my chest and onto it (never great to do) or directly onto my hip bone. But yeah, even without pads it rarely hurts. 09shocker, don't misunderstand how grass is. If it's hot out, everything dries out and you're landing on something very hard, not soft like you'd think grass to be. Really hard mud, especially in the goal area.

  • cut the kid some slack, hes like 12 or 13

  • the pics at the end werent that impresive. you obviously know where the ball is going and have a lot the time to really get that push off the ground for a big dive. In a game situation you dont have that time or any idea where the shot is going to go so idk. its ok

  • Dont lift the ball off the ground if your on it.

    your hand+the ground= SAFE BALL

  • dude you suck

  • hha fuck you ive been offerd a contract by bolton wanderers and was invited also to train with manchester united reserves

  • actually, that oard thing at the beginning seems to be a good idea... i might give it a go - thnx :)

  • Its disturbing that u dont even does the things right.. ALWAYS get the ball to the "scoop" for the first u reduces the risk of dropping the ball cuz u dont put it there and do it on training so u do i natural..

  • you must think you are soo good

  • Yes i really do. I just thought that if u make a movie do it right.

  • I did this when i was 12, looking back i was pretty bad

  • ohh....

    that explains a lot lol

    good keeeping

    how old are u now

  • @mason7soccer no he does not its comman sence

  • Lol good way but the net is kind of small...just saying

  • you are just like me training alone with the wood :)

  • This is a really smart thing you have there i think i have to make ne for myself

  • you swedish number one are ego everyone arent that superior okok i am goalkeeper too and can say that he did many mistakes but interesting training method didnt even know something like that

  • yeh it's smart .. instead of buyin a global goal (:

  • im very .. hm, im goalie for swedens national team u15(93) and i'm born 1994, i have never seen that bad landing technique..don't land on ur knees when u dive ur hips !

  • Good technique;)

I'm a goalie myself, and i do stuff like that on my own to.

  • brilliant homework if you haven't a mate who training you.

  • I LIKE SOCCER TOO!

    lucas garcia ftw.

    ok now come help meeeee.

    bye masss.

  • try throw the ball a little harder and if the balls high up take a step instead of diveing

  • gd keeping mate but for those high shots, once yuve came over wid opposite hand, don't land on yur back, land on yur hip, then shoulder and roll onto stomach 4 coushin landin, lyin on the ball 4 protection and thn yu can get up quick. but yer, gd keepin ;)

  • yo big help from u... where do u tht type of stuff to make it bounce all those angles or howd u make tht period... cuz i need 2 practice myself and using my stupid backyard rock wall dont help.. nor do the school walls so can u help me on tht and ur a good keeper

  • just wood nailed together and placed on different angles

  • nice saves.

  • under 14 or 15 this year

  • under 14 for 2008

  • do you play super league

I play 15's super league keeper at sunshine heights who do u play 4

  • essendon royals, and yeh i do

  • interesting, how old are you?

  • 13 years

  • keeper for reserves down in victoria .. australia.. im 16.. i train everday.. wif a m8 whos been overseas... try go out into the park,, nd push urself harder.. volleys from wood thing.. coz ur kikin it at ur pace ,,, maaa. go park,, nd get a m8 nd push urself but overall.. ur doin sum kind of effort for a young kid :)

  • hey, i do, i am also vic, but i didn't get in, what is your name

  • a very good idea with the wooden pallet

    and a also good video!

  • If you use a wooden pallet, the ones that are used for shipping, it provides an uneven surface so when you kick the ball the ball will come off the pallet randomly with more velocity. This somewhat simulates a close reaction save.

  • them shots are too simple to catch do something harder ur not bad tho keep it up

  • he is allways doin the same think not good enough

  • You are good, you are also goalkeeper, just like me :p if also upload a vid :P

  • *clap clap* well done mason.
