dude, this is really a good way to practice yourself as a goalkeeper in litmited space and without any partner. in other hand, you can do it anytime, anywhere. i learned from you man. thanks for sharing vid.
I'm a keeper. I feel the need to come and comment on peoples training videos of how amazing I am at playing goal keeper. I'm gunna play for Chelsea one day, because I'm an amazing keeper.
dude im sorry but i dont believe u got offered to play anywhere
youre technique is bad the first thing i was tot to do is to DIVE FORWARD, and it looks to me as ur diving backward and u dont have the fluid motion that most good keeps have
and also ure pushing off wrong ure like turning ur body and jumping to meet the ball ure sposed to keep sideways
I didnt know bolton, one of the worlds best teams, took goalies who have technique like shit
dude im sorry but i dont believe u got offered to play anywhere
youre technique is bad the first thing i was tot to do is to DIVE FORWARD, and it looks to me as ur diving backward and u dont have the fluid motion that most good keeps have
i do not believe you have a "contract" with Bolton Wanderers. Here is why: first your technique is terrible, you can't even do the basic stuff like diving diagonally forward to catch the ball, you are diving backwards, and secondly, if you are from outside the European Union, you cannot join the academy until you are 18, that is just Premier League regulations. So just stick to playing for your local club team and stop trying to talk yourself up
@z77soccer I am actually 16 but I obviously ain't that bad or I wouldn't play for Brisbane Strikers in the QSL, so do go saying you have a better technique or fluid motion. I see no fluidity in your movement and quite frankly, you don't have a better technique. Get back to me when you learn a few more things
im goin 2 be honest here...u r kinda skinny for a gk no offense and your diving technique is weird and not good....but maybe its weird cuz the ball is going slow wen you bounce it off the wood?...and u really played against bolten???? wat team do you play for? i am 14 right now and i made the dc united u16 team last summer but i didnt have enough money its like 1500 and im going down to spain and south america to tryout for some teams.....but im not really one to judge cuz i havent seen u play.
Wow, you are going to know where the ball is going to go. Its like throwing a ball to yourself hitting it off the wall like that. I would like to see u during a real game
your abit small and skinny for a goal keeper and i play fot brighton and ive played for the reserves 3 timez and i played man u and their goal keepers are class
@woodyboyTV Any one can be a goalkeeper who cares how small they are,,im eleven and the shortest in my class but my classmates still say im the best keeper...
dude i think its really cool you got offered a contract a Bolton i'm 14 gonna be 15 in april im working hard on my goal keeping so i can play for Newcastle but worst thing is that i dont live in the UK
where abouts do you live then mate? and why are you so intresed in playing for Newcastle? Just work hard and just be fortunate if you get picked up by any professinal club
haha yeh this was when i was 12 im 15 now. i guess it helped me in terms of handling, but it doesnt do too much else. and everyone else here who is bagging me as a 12 year old, 2 months ago i was invited to the UK to trial at mancheter united and bolton, and was offerd a contract by bolton.
The first save you made wasn't placed well. Always, always, always, put it over the net, never back into play if you can avoid it. Especially with the ball going so close to the net, and you being down.
Also, try and get a more uneven surface. You're expecting where the balls are going to go, so you already know where you're going. If you don't, you get better reflexes.
Good idea with the board, I'm going to make one myself in the summer =)
Same with me. I sometimes wear padded jerseys, but it gets too hot in the summer to. The only time it does hurt is if I either land with the ball under my chest and onto it (never great to do) or directly onto my hip bone. But yeah, even without pads it rarely hurts. 09shocker, don't misunderstand how grass is. If it's hot out, everything dries out and you're landing on something very hard, not soft like you'd think grass to be. Really hard mud, especially in the goal area.
the pics at the end werent that impresive. you obviously know where the ball is going and have a lot the time to really get that push off the ground for a big dive. In a game situation you dont have that time or any idea where the shot is going to go so idk. its ok
Its disturbing that u dont even does the things right.. ALWAYS get the ball to the "scoop" for the first u reduces the risk of dropping the ball cuz u dont put it there and do it on training so u do i natural..
you swedish number one are ego everyone arent that superior okok i am goalkeeper too and can say that he did many mistakes but interesting training method didnt even know something like that
im very .. hm, im goalie for swedens national team u15(93) and i'm born 1994, i have never seen that bad landing technique..don't land on ur knees when u dive ur hips !
gd keeping mate but for those high shots, once yuve came over wid opposite hand, don't land on yur back, land on yur hip, then shoulder and roll onto stomach 4 coushin landin, lyin on the ball 4 protection and thn yu can get up quick. but yer, gd keepin ;)
yo big help from u... where do u tht type of stuff to make it bounce all those angles or howd u make tht period... cuz i need 2 practice myself and using my stupid backyard rock wall dont help.. nor do the school walls so can u help me on tht and ur a good keeper
keeper for reserves down in victoria .. australia.. im 16.. i train everday.. wif a m8 whos been overseas... try go out into the park,, nd push urself harder.. volleys from wood thing.. coz ur kikin it at ur pace ,,, maaa. go park,, nd get a m8 nd push urself but overall.. ur doin sum kind of effort for a young kid :)
If you use a wooden pallet, the ones that are used for shipping, it provides an uneven surface so when you kick the ball the ball will come off the pallet randomly with more velocity. This somewhat simulates a close reaction save.
