@littlegalah It's 2'6" gauge, not a common width to use in the UK. Well worth a visit!

Everybody else: get to the Welshpool and Llanfair if you can. The staff are cheerful, the route is just as you see it and the verandah ends to the coaches mean that you can get up close and personal to a hot smoke box and chattering blast pipe. Wonderful.
