Drilling VS Mounting Steel Plate. The holes that were drilled in the frame are only 6mm and when all of the battery space frames are mounted to the bike everything is nice and tight. The only reason I can imagine getting speed wobbles is if the weight of the batteries upset the centre of gravity. The only way for me to find out though, is to ride it! :) apologies, I deleted your comment by accident.
On this bike it's gonna be a chain mate! A belt would be better, no oily chain to deal maintain however there will be better performance from the chain.
I just watched all your 18 videos. Great job! besides being a safe and experienced mechanic you know how to make good tutorial videos too! :-) Thank you.
This certainly helps me deciding whether to go for such a project too or choose the lazy option: Vectrix. Obviously doing it ones self is much more exciting, but I would have trouble finding time plus i'd have to equip a workshop from scratch.
1 question: How're you going 2 make it all waterproof? I guess that's still coming up
and the tank is foooor? .. beer? :D so you can drink and drive?...with a staw taped to you helmet or something? ^^
No seriously is it for anything at all?

Andy, you're doing a spectacular job. The bike is beatiful !
Please consider a belt drive instead of a chain drive. You will gain 0,5 hp of net output power on the wheel. And bike will be much quieter.

Choose a bike and convert it mate! Vectrix is nice but it's not a motorcycle! :)
