  • On my TOP 100 list!! thx, Dina

  • @MichaelDinaswirled- you're very welcome!

  • Any body know who P F Sloan is?

  • Rob, Rest in Peace. You were the heart and soul of the Grass Roots. Your music and performances will live on. We miss you !

  • It's been confirmed that Rob Grill died yesterday after falling and being on a ventilator for three days. He passed away in his wife's arms while "Let's Live For Today" played. He was 67. I saw the Grass Roots a few times in the 1990s, and this song was a highlight every time.

  • @rnrscrapbook I am sorry to hear of his passing. The Grass Roots was such a part of my teenage years. What caused him to fall?... Was he ill?

  • Just sitting here going back looling over old postings and its almost like seeing them for the first time again. I love this song and I enjoy hearing Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds singing it but I bet it would have been a big hit for The Grass Roots if they hadn't turned it down. It just seems loke it was written for Rob to sing but I love it both ways. Thanks again for posting. You do an amazing job and I so enjoy them. Thanks again, Rhonda

  • @ran6658- you are VERY welcome Rhonda! Ron

  • very nice for a live cut!!

  • This song sounds like it could have been custom tailored for Rob's voice!

  • The Grass Root and Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds had the same producer. That's why they sound sort of the same.

  • @thehatchettman1- you're right the producer's name is Steve Barri ! Ron

  • the Grass Roots will soon be receiving a cease-and-desist letter from the law firm of Hamilton, Joe Frank and Reynolds.

  • hey, how is everything? This song gets me confused, because I thought I knew all of the grass roots song's. I'm pretty sure that the original was rcorder by a one hit wonder named, Hamilton, Joe, Frank, and Reynolds. Was this song the same guys as the Guess Who?

  • @abeatlesfan101-yes, the original was recorded by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds. No, the Guess Who never recorded this song. This video is from a live performance by the Grass Roots (with one original member) in 1999. Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds had a total of 3 hits on the Billboard charts. This song went to #4, "Fallin' In Love" went to #1 and "Winners And Losers" went to #21. Ron

  • @abeatlesfan101 ONE HIT WONDER? NOT!!!!!

  • The Grass Roots turned this down, but only after Elvis Presley passed on it first.

  • most likely NOT all the original guys

  • @GeoLayered - No, the only original in the group is Rob Grill. Ron

  • its called age , still sounds great

  • It is like Rob says at the concerts, "The Grass Roots either wrote the songs, borrowed the songs or stole them." I love this! He is so awesome!!

  • ". . . . . . take my heart, my soul, my money, but don't leave me to drown here in my tears".

  • Hey Ron, I actually know this one, all the other shares have been new to me. Great song

  • I don't know what happend to Rob's voice but it sounds soooo different frm then ,,, I somehow dont like it much anymore. it has totally changed :( ....

  • @oOMadhuriOo- I know what you mean. That can happen with age. Ron

  • @oOMadhuriOo umm hes like 70 now haha

  • @TheEddierock66

But still ... well, anyways ... happens...

  • @gtrmarv333

    what?

    i got it now ^^

  • What a terrific video! Love this song. There are some really great photos here. You always do such a nice job. It's a gift to the fans and a tribute to the band. Thanks again, Rhonda
