It's been confirmed that Rob Grill died yesterday after falling and being on a ventilator for three days. He passed away in his wife's arms while "Let's Live For Today" played. He was 67. I saw the Grass Roots a few times in the 1990s, and this song was a highlight every time.

Just sitting here going back looling over old postings and its almost like seeing them for the first time again. I love this song and I enjoy hearing Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds singing it but I bet it would have been a big hit for The Grass Roots if they hadn't turned it down. This video is from a live performance by the Grass Roots (with one original member) in 1999. Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds had a total of 3 hits on the Billboard charts. This song went to #4, "Fallin' In Love" went to #1 and "Winners And Losers" went to #21. Ron
