  • yikes that erection was really scary! :(

  • My sister watched this in 2009 she was shocked about the aftermath and the fact it's last erruption priror to 1991 was 1391

  • ....wat is mount pinachubow???

  • 0:22 , even the clouds are screaming

look at the top of the dark cloud

  • This 1991 mount pinatubo eruption was about 10 times larger and more powerful then the mount st helen eruption of 1980

  • @xhemexx True

  • 0:12 theres a face in the smoke

  • whatyagottaknow? you are an ignorant bastard. They are one of most beautiful and kindest people in this world. You freaking jackass. I wish you would go back and they would beat the shit out of you for your insensitivity. I was there many times and many of them were harder workers than the many lazy assed military losers who treated their women like whores and the people like dirt!

  • Damned catastrophe took away 15 hectares of agricultural land and 6 members of our family. :(

  • I was wondering if you could upload a higher-quality version of this so I could use it in the classroom to teach about volcanoes?

  • 2-3 months after my big bro was born mount pinatubo erupted.

  • i transferred out of clark air base 2 weeks before it blew. we sponsored our house girl so she could come with us. sure miss clark.

  • OMG!

  • We can call Mt pinatubo Ultra Tubo

  • it came so close to manila where my family lived

  • mount pihnahtuhbow...

  • @cooljuven123 awww I feel so sorry or you!

  • T_T dont know why im watching this. this was the cause of my lola's death (grandmother)

  • i'm about 5 year old that time... i really can't remember what happen... its like a shattered memories... just hiding inside my mind... so hard to find... because its blinded by sorrow and pain... so tragic... T______T

  • @jedzz00 So sorry about your sorrow, remembering. Some good came of it -- the US base left the Phillipines. But it was a mess for those nearby, and it colored the sunset for a year. I thank you for your sensitive and wise words.

  • @WhatYaGottaKnow here is the problem with that. Most of the personal on that base spent there money in the Philippines which helped out the economy there. So you can say it caused a bit more hardships since US military personal are rather liberal when it comes to the amount of money they spend.

  • @WhatYaGottaKnow How was it good because the U.S. bases left? The flips had nothing to steal anymore..LOL. The flip military is a joke just like the mega corrupt government. Joseph Estrada the pimp is pardoned and is able to run for office again and is elected.. The P.I. gets what it deserves. I's never come back to that dump

  • @jedzz00 you have an amnesia.

  • Does anyone else find the fact that there isn't any proper footage of the biggest eruption of 20th century a little ridiculous?

And I mean the actual eruption, not the evacuation or aftermath...

  • @nuclear944 if you look at the videos titled "# Mt. Pinatubo Explosion At Clark Air Base, Philippines Part 1 (9:42) " and part 2 and 3 obviously they show the actual eruption although it takes a while to get to it..

  • You know, you're right. Every volcano on the planet, no matter how remote, even ones that have been dormant for centuries, should have a dedicated camera crew present at or near the summit, 24 hours a day.

Maybe a helicopter should be dispatched to every single geologically active spot in the world, just in case. In fact, two or three helicopters should be deployed, in case it's a long way to fuel up. You'd hate to miss an eruption because your helicopter was getting gas.

  • @wretchedbastard if it can be afforded remote seismographic devices are placed on them. if the volcano begins to wake you'd get a good forewarning.

  • i was 11 months.
