  • I saw a video just a few weeks ago and someone had that exact pipe. I can't remember who it was. It's driving me nuts. Lol It's a very nice one.

  • The wind cap is meant to stay with that pipe. If you have a collection of pipes, the wind cap pipe should be one that you choose to smoke when there is a breeze outside. The purpose of the wind cap is not only to keep your embers and ash from blowing out of the bowl, but it is to keep the buffeting air current from making your embers too hot. If your embers get too hot on one side or the other, you will begin to burn a hole in your briar wall. If you smoke it with it off, you are doing it right.

  • @Humpahna

Thanks for the comment. It was a bit surprising to get a comment on this video I did a year ago. I had forgotten about it.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Have you ever heard of Alabama Thunderpussy? They're good people.

  • I have but never got into them. Their name definitely begs for attention! lol

    Thanks for watching!

  • i am in love with this pipe!

  • Well, my pipe reciprocates your affection but I must admit, I'm not growing fond of this affair.

    j/k

    Thanks for watching!

  • aw man, your pipe promised it wouldnt say anything! i typically smoke a pipe in the morning while sitting in traffic for an hour so i have a great appreciation for chin resting pipes and the wind cap is awesome since my cars ac is broken and i have to drive with an open window in the summer.

  • Gotta watch out for back-stabbin Brebbia's...lol.

That sucks about your broken A.C. Been there, done that. Not fun. Especially in traffic, when you're stuck behind some horrid exhaust fumes.

  • Nice pipe but BLS made that vid!!!

  • Very nice pipe. I've seen an estate Oom Paul that's gorgeous, but I'd have to win the lottery to get it.

    Cheers,

    D

  • Nah, just sell a kidney. That's what I did.

    j/k

I had to save up for this pipe for sure. It took a while, but it was well worth the wait.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Lovely pipe! My own pipe thoughts on the matter are: This pipe was obviously designed to smoke outdoors and as such the windcap is supposed to stay in the bowl at all times (except on loading/unloading and cleaning of course). Enjoy your beautiful Oom Paul in whatever weather nature will throw at you. That thing is built like a tank. :-)

    -Mike

  • I agree with your pipe thoughts. ;)

Built like a tank, but surprisingly light as a feather!

    Thanks for watching.

  • Sweet Brebbia. I can get my hands on that one at a retailer near me, but I have been hesitant. I think I'll bite the bullet.

  • Go for it! Life's too short not to. :)

    Thanks for watching!

  • Great OomPaul & SG's 1792 is a fine blend & 2nd Gustavo on Peterson's UniFlake but I'm biased since its in my top 6 blends.

    Cheers

    Brian

  • They are great blends indeed! I still hope to find this elusive StoneHaven.

    Thanks for Watching!

  • let the pipe tell you. every object we fill with love gets a form of a soul, and with meditation we can connect with that soul.

  • Deep "pipe-thoughts" brought to me by MrBojangles. :) I will keep it in mind as I figure out how to handle the cap.

    Thanks for watching!

  • I never had Stonehaven, but University Flake is said to be not very far away.

    Cheers

    Gustavo

  • That's what I hear as well. I will be trying it soon.

    Thanks for watching!

  • Ooo...I'm jealous. I love the Oom Paul shape but have yet to find THE ONE. The quest continues...

    Crow

  • Well, I hope you the best of luck in finding "the one".

    Thanks for watching!
