The lorry driver did break. You can see the smoke coming from the tires. But he was still guitly and an idiot. You don't pass a group of slow moving vehicles and pedestrians at such speed. I guess he was going around 100 km/h. And Lada should have stayed in the right lane.

Yes, that is called passing. When you are driving and overtake other vehicles that are moving slowly, one is often allowed to pass that traffic.

Take a look again... Passing slow moving vehicles at high speed makes you just as responsible for the accident... Too fast for conditions... Lets not forget the fact that the truck is fully loaded AND has a fully loaded trailer...

In traffic rules cars moving in such low speed equals to stopped vehicles. So, the driver of the MAZ truck is not guilty in this accident. The driver of LADA-2107 caused the accident by not looking at the mirror and going on to the opposite side of the road, almost stopping on it.

if you pause the video in time, you can see he was braking from way back, That's a heavy truck to try to stop, even a small ford F-150 skids up to 200 feet before fully stopping. Now imagine that big thing?
