I actually really like this...I kinda prefer thee harsher stuff, and it seems like it's practically impossible to make drum patterns that have several chopped-up beats in the time-frame of 1 midi-measure with Fl studio, but, if it's possible, the person who made this song is on his-her way to finding it!!

The sliced drum loop sounds a little bit choppy. make sure the you trim the loop before you use it. Also, somtimes you need to adjust the slices by moving some of them slightly forward or backward (1/24 of a step). all the rest sounds fantastic!!

It is a drum sample that was sliced into a much different drum pattern, layered with other drum sounds, and modified with effects. Drums are commonly sampled and modified in DnB by professional producers.

Don't know what other samples your talking about so please name them.

@joshraye He means making beats from raw, which is what professionals really do. Get/find some nice samples you can depend on and start going from scratch. If youre good enough at this, you can make nice beats. your lead needs to be EQed much better and gentler, but overall, you did better than most. 4/5

Use a lowpass filter and move your frequency cutoff nob around. youll understand how it works tinkering with it. filters really cool and useful effects. good luck.

this took me 6 or so hours back when i made it (almost 2 years ago)

there are so many styles of dnb its hard to exactly give you a formula for making it.

as far as effects go FL comes with a lot of decent ones right out of the box.

Really gotta watch your clipping on that... nothing should be going over 0. Sounded ok otherwise.
