Yea the 3D version actually came out last year, i had seen it with a friend. It really wasn't very different from the original, nothing really " Popped out of the screen" so to speak. And yes I have heard that version, i actually own the cd which includes the original music to the movie and the remakes of the songs by different bands. The music is sooooo awesome!! =)
