You can't do it in public, you can be fined and no conviction as long as you pay the fine on time, no it is not recognized as medical use.

It is a bit like taxes, the law was much more relaxed 10 years ago but the government are using it as a target in the fight against bikies, which is a load of bollocks IMHO.
