The AI has nothing to do with diffucility. The AI in Call of Duty games has always stayed since the first game. In Call of Duty 4 the enemy doesn't even try to survive, they just stands there shooting.

A more talented AI would try to stay under cover, use pathfinding properly to utilize covers further away or closer the target and properly realise the environment to make it convincing. I doubt Activision will put some work into the AI, they instead throw in numbers of zombies.

my 3850 gets more fps then your hd2900xt in call of duty 4 ... i have all high settings 1024x768 (for smooth gameplay) 2x-4x AA (sometimes i change) 16xAF i hit 30fps as the lowest and 95 fps as highest!

Notice FRAPS is active. Nowadays I get a average of 65 and highest 100FPS on 1680x1050 resolution with 16xAF and AA-filter inactive, as the AA filtering and high(er) resolutions results in a significant load for the GPU.

There's no 8600GTX.

8xxx = Series/Family

xXXX (ex. x600) = Segment/Target on the market

GS/GT/GTS/GTX, etc = Prefix represents the performance target.

8600 = Mainstream segment, GT prefix means lower-case performance, overall lower-end mainstream product. GTX is always unique to the enthusiast segment and will not appear in mainstream segment what so ever, perhaps GTS, but that is only a performance/value or casual/enthusiast representing prefix. So, perhaps you got a 8600GTS, not GTX.

For those crying; I've got the full game down and I've been playing through the campaign and the multiplayer for quite some time. I don't think the full game sucks becuase the Demo was horrible, though the campaign was in great requirements of a AI.

Awards says nothing, the previous games were the same, that's why they won the awards becuase the concept was new by the time and was just pumped out until there was nothing left of the title. AI doesn't matter if it is low-diff or not, AI isn't the damage the enemies does or how hard they are but how they react to the environment and the situation and on all settings the enemy is just dolls standing there waiting to be killed.

I know. But I based my opinions of the Demo by playing the demo. I got the game down tonight and the campaign was as primitive and unpolished as in the Demo but the Multiplayer is the only reason I at all bothered, ofcourse, just as everybody else.

The PC always have more dynamic visuals as the PC is able to kick in new hardware and technologies as it arrives while the consoles has a limited hardware that only shines at the start beeing. But this engine would still need some fine-tuning, such as edges and so giving wierd pixelated shading in sharp colors when the environment is dark with a few light-sources. Also sounds would need a serious tuning in this game just thinking of how much audio they converted from CoD2.

And I'm also recording using Fraps so performance kicks down by a 30-50% below average, so compared to that the consoles will run it faster.

your friend card is buggy I got over 90 FPS on this game with my 8800GTS 320MB but then again the 320 out performs the 640 on lower rez.

It can't outperform the 640MB in lower resolutions as the 640MB is the same product with more avalible video-ram, most likely will it outperform the 320MB in any resolution and under every single environment. But 320MB does a significantly better job for the money on lower resolution and/or without AA.

I strongly doubt it. And it is also vital to consider the CPU and not only the videocard, as this game is favoring Nvidia for a bit more to come. I don't know, but more new games like the additional cache of the Intel C2D lineup so there'll be a possible increase in performance just by having that - and new drivers or hotfix will probably boost performance quite a bit - I could guess Catalyst 7.11 or 7.12 (8.0?) will focus on boosting UR3.

"Everything cranked up to max" is a bad term for videogames as AA can go up to x24 nowadays and when cranked up max then those AA settings needs to be applied if you're putting it that way. I have no problems with this game without the AA, but it just looks even worse as the edges and lightning in this game and engine is kind of bad and old (just look at their helmets, it doesn't make any sense where the light is coming from, it's just glowing)

I got better AA/AF results with my 2900XT than my friends 8800GTS 640mb (8xAA, 16xAF) so that's all biased crap based on the first drivers. And both of our cards are up to date, talking about drivers. He got slightly better general score due to the faster CPU though, 200p difference in 3dMark06.

Difficulity only makes the enemies resist more damage and do more damage, the AI is as ever as static so there's no need to have higher diff. than Regular. In the aging F.E.A.R we saw living AI, these are just dolls sitting around shooting at you in floods, which is as bad as all previous MoH and CoD games.

My monitor displays the message no signal, the fans on everything run and my monitor works after i did some stuff in settings on my laptop but i cant get to settings unless i format my drive and i cant format my drive if i cant see its so dang confusing if you know what to do or ne1 for that matter can u plz reply to this message.
