hi! yes, the pickups are the originals, they're really good, I won't change them.

but I think the EMG J are better than the stock pickups of a MIM Fender JB! Actually I loved the demo of Bobby Vega :D

thanks! yeah, it's mostly because of this amp head, it has got a switch which boosts the ~40hz frequencies and another one who boosts the ~4kHz frequencies :) really helpful!

well, depending on the sound, it might be a wire problem.

maybe something got unsoldered in the electronics, you should check it out.

otherwise you can always buy a Boss NS-2 (noise suppressor) but if it's a soldering or ground problem, it's not worth it..

@rockalvaro7 I had a bit of the same problem as you. I was using an amp with a tube so I checked out the components of the tube. They were all dusty, I blew all the dust out of the inside, turned it back on and it sounded perfect. My guess is that there was dust disrupting the connections to the amp. That might be your problem too!

I like to alternate though, I've got two presets for each tone on my pedal one for picking and one for finger. Keep rocking!
