After watching this video, I suddenly started to miss old Diru. And not because of their looks (it really doesn't matter : even if Kyo will look like Justin Bieber I'll love him the same) and not because of change of music (they really improved in music since these days), but because of their personalities. I think old Diru were more hmm..joyful, funny, happy. And it seemed like that they are not stars and are close to every of fan. Now they are world stars and changed a lot. (sry 4 my english)

He did influence Dir En Grey (especially around the time they became horrible nu-metal), but to say he influenced the "entire god damn genre" disregards that the "genre" of visual kei is an aesthetic one encompassing a multitude of musical styles way beyond Manson's ho-hum alt crap. How's that for fact?
