I am 43 and my parents and teachers taught us to respect those in authority, I respected my Dad but my mom never lined us kids up and had us sing a song about him! We respected our pastor but the congregation never stood before the sermon and sang to him or about him! Austin7922.. Do you live in or near this town? Apparently not. Only homeowners pay taxes that provide this education. Most of the residents in the town are renters that live in the several apartment complexes. Tennants pay no school tax.
Actually tenants DO pay unjust property (government school) tax. It's included in the rent. Of course the landlord is going to make a profit and recoup/pass on his costs. Unjust property taxes are not just paid by home owners, but also increases the cost of rent, obstructing progress towards home ownership.
However, could you perhaps be talking of government or government subsidized housing? In that case, those government dependent leeches might not be paying school tax as you said

However, that video tape footage was from a previous rally so they lied about the size. Besides that most Americans don't have any idea what socialism is, or capitalism's role in a democracy. I am 43 and my parents and teachers taught us to respect those in authority, I respected my Dad but my mom never lined us kids up and had us sing a song about him! We respected our pastor but the congregation never stood before the sermon and sang to him or about him! My parents had some presidents that they thought the world of but they would have pulled us out of school if the teacher had us sing like this about them.

Isn't that like a major tenet of SOCIALISM? So why are they being allowed to promote false religion/fanaticism in government monopoly schools? Socialism is not compatible with our Constitution.
Equal work means equal pay, isn't possible without government wage controls. Say goodbye to free markets? That's communist poverty. Scarcer skills compete for higher pay. No competition means no excellence nor innovation.

This really pisses me off. This is my school district. The story is so wrong. Yes this happened, but they did it during black history month. Who wears sweaters in june? Its the same as they do every year instead of MLK. FOX needs some real news and I feel bad for these kids. I know thyre parents and i am sick how some of you are treating them. These children know who he is they aren't daft. Leave them alone.

Just like many others...Fox News does not get all the details and states things that are not fact or truth. I am also "turned off" by a lot of the negative and rude comments left. Fox accomplished NOTHING positive in twisting this story around! The focus that was put on this school is unfair. I've got one last thing for Fox News, Here's a thought...get all your facts first THEN to the TRUTH and not a STORY...but I guess if you did that, you wouldn't have a story...would you???

Austin7922.. Do you live in or near this town? Apparently not. Only homeowners pay taxes that provide this education. Most of the residents in the town are renters that live in the several apartment complexes. Tennants pay no school tax.

Actually tenants DO pay unjust property (government school) tax. It's included in the rent. Of course the landlord is going to make a profit and recoup/pass on his costs. Unjust property taxes are not just paid by home owners, but also increases the cost of rent, obstructing progress towards home ownership.
However, could you perhaps be talking of government or government subsidized housing? In that case, those government dependent leeches might not be paying school tax as you said

Back in 1962 when the evil Supreme statist Court tried to remove prayer from (government) schools, preachers and parents should have been in an uproar and pulled their children out. According to "Thou shalt honor thy father and mother," and Deut 6, and the Constitution, education isn't a gov responsibility but a PARENTAL responsibility.

I myself as someone that did go to a public school am outraged at the last few comments. Especially since Im not nor never have been on welfare and am a success at what I do. Isnt that what all of this is about? People wanting to take action against the under paid under staffed schools that provide a FREE education to our children? Just keep in mind all of the attention being brought to the school now that all of this bashing is going on and interrupting the school day for the kids.

Hows this for those of you that are sooo negative. Remove your children from the public school system and teach them yourselves if you think that you could do so much better then those are actually doing it. Especially since there are too many kids that ONLY have someone looking after them while they are at a public school and NOT when they are home.
