  • A real "Guitar Hero"!

  • Generic as blues is... but is it just me, or the intro humming part could not be more similar to Sweet Home Chicago

  • @flounderize yes it does sound like "sweet home chicago"

  • @UpTheDownEscalator00 Well, i guess you are talking about famous young guitarrists nowadays cause im 19 and if u see me using the guitar you will see my wide influences and the styles i use and dynamics u will say that the world is bigger that it seems, but i dont have a good camera to record them. By the way play from blues, folk or rock and roll till some spanish and latin rythms.

  • This guy is better than 99% of guitarists today. Plain and simple, no questions about it.

  • too much echo in the remaster

  • black sabbath based thier music on celtic folk and classical,so maybe no zepplin and some hairbands would have sounded different.

  • @hoggzski Zeppelin wouldn't have existed if there were no blues.

  • @hoggzski Sabbath was also heavily jazz influenced.

  • @hoggzski there is still blues in what they do though cause folk and celtic music on its own sounds nothing like they do blues is what invented the solo and the rock riff so therefore all rock stars must pay respect to these guys for laying the foundation down.

  • if it wasnt for blues, there would be no metal today

  • Great post, thank you !

  • is this the remastered version?

  • yes i'm the 11.111 viewer

  • wish that i could of met Blake,

and even if i did ever meet him,

I don't think I would say anything, I just let him play.

  • real music not like this limp wristed dross we have to listen to on the radio!!!! i dont want to sound like a grumpy old c__t but what the fuck have we got to look forward to these days?

  • @MrLeadbelly Death?

  • @MrLeadbelly

    Death.

  • the beginning singing part sounds very much like the future Sweet Home Chicago in my ears! Very nice!

  • I'm sorry, blues fans, but I accidentally clicked on the thumb down, so please disregard it. I LOVE Blind Blake.

  • @theoriginalbadbob I used to do that all the time. They should have designed a way to correct it.

  • @Grungekid101 I think that they have. If you click on 'thumb down,' by accident, if you then click on 'thumb up,' it doesn't register the first choice. I think.

  • @theoriginalbadbob Don't worry, so did five other people, they just weren't as humble about it.

  • @Rudimentarypenis I want to know just one thing:

Did Blind Blake sign that photo himself?

  • @theoriginalbadbob

5 other people did too, and that was over a year time span

  • @theoriginalbadbob no worries, the only explanable reason for the thumbs down on a blake video is someone is overcome with joy that they accidently misclick it in excitement.

  • Man-0-man!! Thanks for posting these; Blind Blake is one of the best. Fantastic!

  • Wow, Black Dog. I'm sure I've heard another song with this very name. Seems to be about the only similarity though, but I could be missing something. Anyone know if Zep's Black Dog was inspired musically by Blind Blake?

  • @gfirefrosting zeppelins song has nothing to do with a black dog. they say that while recording there was a black dog wandering around the studio and they named it that.

  • @gfirefrosting not at all. jpj made up a rolling bassline idk i forget who he was trying to imitate
