Wow Thats Pretty Yellow Doors For And H5 Usally There Lighter But This One Is Dark For Me Not To Be Mistaken But With The T1 The Doors Are Usually Damp And Scratched

Definitely a T1 at the beginning, that distinctive screech and the tuneless door chime is unmistakable

TTC has reached a lower standard like NY with announcements. I pray that they do not get any lower by bomabarding the passengers with a barrage of rubbish. Say the station once. Twenty years ago, there were no announcements and everyone did fine.

I do the Finch-York Mills route every morning. All on H5s or T1s.

The H5's and the T1's are the only trains that run on the YUS line

@046547717 As of 2011, the trains on the Y-U-S line are the H5's, T1's and the newest model, TR's.

I love these trains because

-the unique sounds when the arrive and leave (already mentioned)

-their "real" horns

-and their tacky 1980s interiors, especially the wood paneling

All of the H series trains have the "real" horn sound. The T1s have a wimpy, if not sissy, horn if you ask me :)

Yes I love that sound on those H5's as well. Very sweet video! I was just recently in Toronto and did a few videos as well of Subway and other various vehicles in the GTA. I have not uploaded any as of yet due to being back to work and other things. Will add them soon!
