Hi bus people. I have a 77 GMC 4905A which I converted and finished it in 1997. TRook 3-1/2 years to do this. But Im in great need of the glass for the door intery. My bus ciunversion was brokeninto & ransacked and tore off many things, It took me 3 months just in labor to fix it, But I can not find the door window for it., Even the MCI in Illinois sold their stock, but to who? Does anybody have this windo in grerat condition & will sell it to me. I here 4106, and 4108,4107 are the same windo.
wow men im from one small country in south america called uruguay here there were a lot of those buses they were used for a company called ONDA and they also used the same dog of the grayhound buses company today still that sound make the people kepp very sad cause the company dessapeared in early of 90 but this buses ,the dog and this sound still lives in our memories and hearts thanks for post this kind of videos thanks america for this buses
Hey, I remebered a Tour bus company that still use Buffalos, in Washington DC in spring of 1995. I remeber this because, on a class trip to Washington DC or sponser use one of this company Buffalos to take us from Reagan Airport to our Hotel. The rest of the time we had MCI buses, but I remeber seeing those Buffalos taking people around on tours. Do any know about that bus companys or there name.
So this buses dose have a V730 transmission. There was another video where people was posting that it had a HT 740. Seeing that most GM coaches had V drive, it make more since that it has a V730.
the detroit 8V71?,they don't make them like they used to. And the bus itself (The Great Buffalo) is in a class all by itself. I've drove these during my rookie years at new jersey transit when they were in service in the late 1980's. The only problem i had with them were the power steering. your weight had to be up in order to handle a PH series. Aaaah those great memories. And i thank you for them.
